KatonRyu 1,033 January 29, 2015 Share January 29, 2015 I'm from the Netherlands, and these are some things that I like: 1. The roads. Seriously, I've been in so many countries with bad roads and worse drivers that I'm always grateful to be back here. 2. Relative freedom. Even though the government seems determined determined to make things more shit for everyone we can still pretty much do what we like. 3. Healthcare. Being insured is mandatory and I fully support that. Lots of nastiness in that world, but the concept itself is one I like. 4. Peanut butter. There is no better peanut butter in the world and I will hear no arguments on this. (Also if any of my friends read this, ha funny ha) 5. Not applicable to me personally, but freedom of religion and full rights for any sexuality is always good. (Although I do believe we're getting too tolerant of some things) I'm pretty sure people would've expected weed to be on the list. I don't do drugs, so I couldn't care less, really.
ReverseFaller 2,484 January 29, 2015 Share January 29, 2015 Let's see, things I love about the United States... Guns. I like that I can buy, and own one if I want to. Diversity. This country is insanely diverse, and it's awesome. Food. I like how we seem to have restaurants for every country/culture there is. Movies. A lot of good movies are made in the US. (Don't get me wrong. I enjoy foreign films too) Freedom of Speech. This is a human right, and it baffles me that every country doesn't already have this right. Freedom of Religion. Another basic human right, that I'm happy to say exists here in the US. 2 Credit for the signature goes to Kyoshi

gone~ 614 January 30, 2015 Share January 30, 2015 Things that I love about the US? Hmm, that's hard... I guess it'd be that my freedoms aren't restricted that much when compared to a lot of other countries... Also, a freer economy than many other countries as well (although that's slowly being leeched away) Finally, I have a better standard of living than many other people enjoy. JonasDarkmane 19,788 January 30, 2015 Share January 30, 2015 What do I love about my country? Well, we are a tiny nation and quite young as well. Being a former colony of Denmark, we are own nation and we have had great economic successes in the past. I guess I am proud that such a small nation can have an impact on the world. Also being the only nation that stood up for the Baltics when they broke free from the USSR and recognizing them as independent countries. I also love the winter here.
