I think the idea was to encourage you to use as much as possible so that you would buy more.

I was laughing thinking about their old commercials the other day, my little brother didn't get it.

There were a ton of Christmas commercials that I loved when I was younger though I only remember a few. I also always loved the commercials and bumpers for Nickelodeon from back in the day.

 

You know what else was cool? Hot Wheels commercials. They were so generic and cheesy and screamed gender roles, but they do hold a special place in their cheesiness.

 

Also, there was a certain commercial that I loved for a toy that I loved but I cannot find it anywhere. The commercial for the awesome Rockem Sockem Robots that releases in the early 2000's. The ones that were customizable. Those things were so cool and I loved the commercial for them.
