My new OC for RP. (Need help deciding)

Recently I had the urge to make a new OC to use in EqE (Because I always want what I don't have, yeehhh). So, I tried to create the new guy...

 

For some reason after finishing him I accidentally changed his coat colour and I liked that outcome too, so I finally came up with the idea to upload them here and see who you guys think looks better.

 

So, here're the choices:

Brief explanation of the OC:

 

Edit: Don't pay attention to his special talent and cutie mark, I'll try to think about something better later, his way of seeing things and his "deep thought" will still be present as a trait-

 

You might have noticed it by his cutie mark, his special talents is "thinking outside the box" (In a very unique way). Every single thing around him can take him to a long trip of deep thoughts. He's very introverted, but still a nice and smart pony if you get to know him. 

He also likes animals, owning a pet (A hamster called Orion) himself.

His special talent also makes him a more understanding pony, being able to "put himself in other ponies hooves" thanks to his objective way of thinking about their situation. If he's involved in an issue, he quickly thinks of multiple ways to solve it.

He might be a quiet pony, but he loves to help everypony who needs him.

 

Likes: Wildlife, magic studies, puzzles and the night (Especially the sky, since the stars and other celestial bodies intrigate him).

 

Dislikes: Crowded spaces, being interrupted while thinking, being put under pressure.

 

Personal motto: "Even the most simple thing can take you to an infinite ocean of questions"

I don't think I've ever seen that as a talent before, kudos

His dislikes remind me a lot of myself, which makes me like him more

 

Personally, I'd go with Star Shine

Let's just say that literally anything can intrigue him. Stars aren't just stars, ¿What are they made of? ¿Why they're there? 

He sees everything like a big pool of questions waiting to be resolved. His special talent is as simple as that: He thinks about EVERYTHING. ¿Two ponies arguing with each other? He doesn't just take a side, he imagines himself in their situation and then takes a decision.

He's able to take another perspective from the context and things happening around him.  

This special talent, even if distracting him from his surroundings sometimes, helps him a lot to solve problems and make plans if needed. If there's an issue, he's able to come up with many ways to solve it

i like the second much better because he's darker and the name matches more for that one than the first

I gave them those names because the OC was born during night, after opening his eyes the foal gazed at the night sky for a while until he fell asleep, and his parents gave him a name making a reference to that fact

It's not a bad idea to make him some kind of counselor or psychiatrist.

 

About the "special talent" thingy, I always thought about it like something that can be pretty solid, like being fast or something pretty figurative and open to people opinion.  

 

Still, if his special talent or cutie mark create more doubt, I guess I should change them.

You're right, maybe I'll just change his special talent to "Being able to understand other ponies troubles" and just add one of those classic couches where people lay as they're being treated as a cutie mark.

 

Anyways I'll just give it some more time to think about it.

For some reason I also came up with the idea to make him an astronomer (Since he loves the stars and night sky) or a librarian (Since he likes quiet places and not being interrupted).

I got even more indecisive now.

 

I'm calling it, I'll end up with 10 different OCs.
