I have completely mainstream parents. I can't get any pony swag because of them. I would buy it myself, but I have no money to buy it with. I could buy plushies online from plushie makers,but I don't have the things I need to set my Paypal up fully. It does bother me, but I'll live.

I think there was another thread somewhere directing to this, but I don't know where. I could tell you what I think though:

 

For one, if you like Discord, you could tell your parents you want a shirt/merchandise of it. It should slide through by them, since he doesn't look like like a Pony. You could tell them is a dragon thread going on. Just make sure there is no MLP tag on it.

 

Another thing you can do is just, well, keep pushing them for it. If they know you are a Brony, then just enforce the fact. If you really want something, just ask for it and nothing else. Let them know how much of this you want. Don't let them deny it.

 

I don't know how much this could help you, but I hope it does.

Your parents won't accept you as a brony? Well then.. 

 

I feared this myself when i came out for being a brony. 

-I DIDNT LET THEM DENY IT. I made several posts on facebook regarding me being a brony, made MLP my background on my phone, laptop, and iPad, i talked about it alot, got one of them to watch it, asked for merch, got the merch. 

 

But thats just me..

*cough*

 

Anyway, i would suggest the Discord idea. I have this really neat Discord T-shirt that i can wear in public because its not even recognizable as a cartoon character, you can find a lot of fancy, non-pony-looking t-shirts.

The discord idea worked like a charm! It may require trickery but it was successful for me. ;)

Same here... I really wanna buy some pony plushies but my parents would scorn me forever if I did.

 

So I have to wait until my 20s and living in my own house... then I'd fill my room with pony merch :D
