Dyna throws the dynamite with Elegron's breath attack.

 

A flash happens at almost the same time blinding the three as Dashia lands next to both Elegron and Dyna.

 

The combo hits and the three enemies are now in pieces. The range was 20ft diameter.

 

(Elegron and Dyna gain team combo: Explosion Party. 20ft area dealing 3 times normal damage for a single stick of Dynamite. No dynamite needed to use the combo. [Dyna being random pulls dynamite from her tail for use with this combo.])

 

Dashia says, "Nice one you two. That was well timed with my Filly Flash."

 

Dashia then tail blades the same enemy as Cunning, giving Cunning a chance to hit. Her attack hits and deals the final blow. Only one enemy remains and that one runs in terror as if to get away from the group. One of the escort guards promptly removes his head for being a coward.

Elegron trots up to dash. "well, that was certainly interesting."

he checks over his gear, making sure his rifle is good condition. after all, fire breath probably won't do much after a hundred meters or so.

"I think when this is over we should all take a break. we've been through a lot."

he looks down to his side remembering how much that bullet hurt.

Cunning delivered the final blow on the guard, with surprisingly more competence than she thought she had with a weapon.

 

"...ooh, I like you," she giggled down at the sabre, "I think I'll keep you around for a bit~!"

 

She tucked the weapon away beneath her coat, and trotted over to her new companions.

(Melee Weapons -10 - 18)

 

"Well, congratulations to us!" She smirked, "We survived yet another dance with death! Though I'm with greeny here," she nodded to Elegron, "I'd like to rest my hooves a bit myself before waltzing some more."

Dashia says, "rest yes but the others need our help first. There is 22 rooms in the factory. If they did rebuild the device. 21 rooms would be used. There is a myth that something important to the future of pegasi is kept in room 22. So there would be three rooms dedicated to the use of the pegasus device. The rooms are, holding pen, extraction chamber for extracting the resources and then the pegasus device itself for creating the rainbows."

 

She looks to the others and says, "All who enter know one thing. With the pegasus device, not a single soul gets threw."

Ebony looked around, "Sorry I lagged behind a bit, the loading bolt on the sub snapped clean off. I kinda fixed it but I don't know how long it's going to last. It's on it's last legs." She looked towards Dashia, "So how does the myth go of whats in room 22? I think if there's any information available, it'd be best if we all knew." She get the sub out her bag to show her handiwork, "Yes... that is a pencil in place of the bolt."

Elegron inspects the gun (repair 35) "i think i can help with that later, but for now, we dont have time, here, if you want, you can have my shotgun. i dont think ill need it anymore" he hands the gun to ebony. 

"lets not waste anymore time. get in, get out, do what needs to be done, and free any prisoners. we can come up with a plan as we go. its not much of a plan, but we dont have time for a better one."

he charges up a bolt of fire in his mouth, and quickly runs into the first room, ready to give the next "red bar" a face full of flames.

Dashia says, "Wait Elegron. Ebony is right. There is more. It is guarded by a Griffin of unique power. Nopony knows why or how but she doesn't let anypony in. If Darkeyes' forces have taken the place, they must not only be after the device. They may be after what is in that room."

 

She looks around and says, "A plan is exactly what we need right now."

the fire disperses as he awkwardly walks back out, annoyed.

"fine, we can come up with a quick plan, but dont spend hours on the details, we are on a time limit after all."

The Guide approaches elegron

"you cant be so quick to rush into things"

'did i ask you?'

"did i ask you for permission?"

'thats it, if your going to make me feel like im going insane like this, which i probably am, the least you can do is show a little restraint'

"i could tell you the same"

with that, he vanishes.

 

elegron puts a hoof around dash's shoulder "so, whats this "plan" thing? please explain" he says with a playful grin

Ebony looks about, judging the thickness of the build structure and it's walls, "I think I have one..." She looked about again, double checking her guesses, "Right. So... If the 22nd room is important to the Darkeyes we should get rid of whatever is in it. I think that Elegron and Dyna should go about the room, one at a time and clear them out. This will mean that if the Darkeyes are even a tiny bit militarized then they will focus on stopping the rooms being cleared out. In the meantime myself, Dashia, her father and Cunning can sneak into the 22nd room and take out whatever's still guarding it and destroy it." She looks at the courtyard," I think after we're done we could regroup here, at the entrance unless reinforcement's arrive and then we regroup in the 22nd room. I'm going on the assumtion that the 'it' is an item and not some sort of magical artifact." She says, toying with her necklace gingerly.

"i like your idea, but dynas method of figthing is very... destructive. in an enclosed room, my odds arent very good. And i want to go with Dash, but overall its a good plan. i think dash and i should clear out the rooms, and dyna can hold off the enemies that will surely try and overwhelm us. that way she can set up explosives in the halls while the rest of you check out the 22nd room. with the three of us working on that, it shouldnt take long before we catch up to you guys. that way if some giant evil thing is waiting for you, then we can help out." he has no idea where that came from. usually his plans arent this detailed.

Dyna was becoming a bit bored, waiting for the others. She decided to sneak upon ebony and play with her tail. She was like a cat playing wither her tail, her eyes big. "Teeheehee, funny tail you got there" she said as she giggled. She stood up after a few minutes of playing with the tail. "Just tell me what to blow up and I will do it, I warn you though, I know between right and wrong. I aint going to be bowing up innocent pegasi".

Dashia says, "The Griffin may fight Darkeyes' minions. If she does killing her would only weaken us."

 

Dashia's Father steps up, "If it can be avoided don't kill the griffin. Her name is Gilda. We have known about her for 50 years. We don't know how she survived this long but what she guards has to do with Twilight Sparkle. This Darkeyes seems more intrested in the device. Make that your priority.

 

I myself can't go with you. I have to rally my Dashites. But once that is done we will join you."

 

He gives Elegron a map of the factory.

 

From outside to center it looks like a massive spiral. All rooms look to connect with inner rooms. However if the map is any indicator, the security systems would close off direct access to the inner rooms and full access to the 22nd room. Only by shutting down the pegasus device can one gain access to the 22nd room.

"Twenty-two rooms?!" Cunning repeated in shock, and fell back on her haunches with a long sigh, "This is gonna be a long night."

 

She perked up her ears and waited for a plan, which this other stallion provided. She'd be tagging along with him, this 'Dashia' and her dear old dad to destroy...something.

 

Eh, whatever gets me outta here the fastest. And it would be nice to take this thing out; obviously pegasi're getting hurt by this Rainbow...Machine...which means bad news for me.

 

"Sounds good, what's-your-name!" She piped up again, hopping onto her hooves and trotting over to Dashia, "looks like we'll be getting some time to know each other! Totally platonic, of course." She added, shooting a smirk to Elegron.

Dashia says, "As dad had said, Elegron is the first stallion I have kissed. So take it as you wish. I was raised to be pretty open about life."

 

Dashia then looks around and says, "With this map and the way the security works we can't split up. We also can't seem to get to room 22 without going through the device's room. I think Dyna's and Elegron's combo can be done in most of these rooms.

 

 

[GM use of Dyna's Random trait.] Dyna suddenly gets a twitchy twitch. A sign she feels she knows means something is about to fall from somewhere.

Dyna noticed her tail twitching. "That has never happened before, but I get the feeling that something is about to happen". She instinctively covered her head with her hooves and dove under Elegron, using him as a shield. "Twitchy twitch twitch" she says.

Elegron catches onto what she meant pretty quickly. "well, at least your open minded" he says with a smirk before kissing her. "I personally only have interest in mares, but I don't judge"

 

then he saw dyna acting strange. "what's gotten into you? nothing's gunna happen, we get in, get out, and everyponies fine."

"Hey, I'm no homewrecker," Cunning kept up her smirk, raising her hooves in mock defence, "you lovebirds do what you do!"

 

Her smirk faded as she noticed the filly in the corner of her eye, and turned to see her twitching and diving beneath Elegron.

"Um, is that normal?" She muttered, pointing a hoof to her, "Is she gonna explode again?"

 

What is with this kid? First she's exploding, now she's twitching. I'm actually getting concerned, here.

Near by a cloud box lands missing all the party. A familiar voice says, "Special Delivery for Elegron and Friends."

 

They see Ditzy Doo flying away with a pack full of what looks to be mail.

 

Dashia approaches the box and opens it. She grins and says, "Papa supplies for the task at hoof from somepony named Pinkie Pie."

 

She reads the letter from inside the box aloud.

 

'Dear Future Bearers,

 

This may help in the task ahead. I had Ditzy hold onto it for 200 years. Hope you find it useful. Have fun destroying the Pegasus Device.

Dashia says, "That Pinkie Pie is so Random."

Dyna crawls from under Elegron. "I knew something was about to happen, I felt it. Strange". She looked as if she was in deep thought, but suddenly started jumping around giggling. "What is in the box? What is? Huh, huh huh?" she blinked a few times in excitement.

Dashia says, "Well she left a list for who gets what. Strange she knew who we would be before we were born.

 

Dyna I think this cannon is for you."

 

Dashia pulls out Pikie Pie's party cannon And hooves it to Dyna.

 

Dashia pulls out what looks to be a saber hilt. "Elegron, this is for you."

 

She gives it to Elegron.

 

Dashia pulls out Ebony's most Favorite weapon. "Pinkie says this is for you Ebony."

 

She gives it to Ebony.

 

Dashia pulls out a Highly customized pistol. She says, "Cunning, I think Pinkie somehow knew you would be here with us. She left this for you. It looks advanced."

 

Dashia give the pistol to Cunning.

 

Dashia then pulls out a box with a bright Orange Apple on it. She studders a bit and then grins, "Rainbow Dash's Anti-material Rifle, Spitfire's Thunder!"

 

After all items are removed, including a stack of 10 sticks of Dynamite, the box mysteriously vanishes.

 

(Yes am now unlocking Special Named Weapons. Also remember I don't give items of a high level without reason. If you get a strong item, your going to need it.)

Cunning jumps with a yelp as the huge box lands next to them.

 

Sweet Goddesses, what am I getting myself into today?

 

Dashia pops open the box, after claiming it to be from the good ol' Minister of Morale, Pinkie Pie. The one who's been dead for over two hundred years.

Then again, she was apparently the loopy one, so this makes some weird sense to her.

 

She watches as Dashia hoofs out weapons to the others.

 

Well lucky them, well mom's pistol's doing great for me so far so-

 

Dashia announces Pinkie left a weapon for her too.

 

"What." She deadpans, trotting over and inspecting her little present. Indeed, the pistol looks really high-tech, and it looks pretty similar to her new sabre. She lifts it out to do a comparison, and indeed they looked a perfect match. Like two long-lost siblings coming together and getting ready to cut ponies up without mercy.

 

"Ooooh, look at this bad boy!" She giggles, smirking as she tucks the pistol away, "Send the ol' mare my regards."

A voice says, "Your welcome. We will meet soon. Now get in there and blow that Darkeyes group a new one!"

 

The voice sounds like Pinkie Pie's.

 

Yet there is nopony who had said voice near by. Dyna notices what looks to be Mare Doo Well with wings going into the factory.

Dyna inspects the party cannon. "Hmm, this looks like something that can make a big BOOM" she giggled. She knew she was going to like it very much.

 

Dyna noticed a masked pony going into the factory. "Was that our mysterious savior from before?". She looked questioningly at the group.

Elegron stares at the strange object. "what's this thing?" he taps a button with his hoof, and a blade of purple energy materializes on it. "Sweet Celestia! I've always wanted one of these" he says with a wide grin. he gives it a few swings, and tries it out on a nearby wall. it (with some effort) slices through it. he spins it around fluently before it deactivated and he clips it onto his saddlebags. "this thing is AWESOME!"

he is too distracted by his new sword to notice the masked pony.

Cunning's ears flicked at the voice, causing her to cock her head and blink curiously.

"I'm not the only one who heard that, right?"

 

She glanced up toward the factory, noticing a dark figure sprinting toward the doors and disappearing inside.

"Or the only one who saw that, right?"

 

Damn, and this morning started out so...normal.
