"Ooh! More scrap metal!" Ebony cheered as she entered the room and starts to strip the nearest body of all parts. "I bet I can make some lightweight armor with these scraps... Ooh! I just has an amazing idea, what if... I stuck more metal... Onto an explosive!" She thought for a second, "Waaaaiiitt... Isn't that already a thing?" She kept thinking to herself then got trapped in her own thoughts while pulling bits of metal off dead bodies.

It had been 2 years since Dyna had seen her mothers face. She had not forgotten what she looked like. She remembered every inch of it. She followed the rest, rather silent. [Perception 9] Dyna notices the tail end of Mare Doo Well going into the next room. "Someone's here".

Sand stands from his little thought train, only catching a few things of what the others had said. Simply taking it to himself to ignore it for now. As he catches back up to the group. He clears his head. "Okay so while I was doing... Stuff. What happened?"

 

Wait what was I doing? Did you forget already sand? Maybe.... Ah forget it....

 

As he walks through into the next room, he revels at the mass bodies. A slight delight filling his mind.

 

"Dude! If only I was here to see it all happen... Wait did I say that out loud?"

 

   He walks forward, looking over one of the pieces of power armour. "I don't care if I can't modify it or wear it. I am taking these! Some one do me a favour and repair some of it for me? I want to take brute to the next level. Besides, these Raider rags are old school. Maybe add it onto the armour... Hmm..." He starts to drift off into his mind once again.

 

   Think about all the raiders you could kill, or caravans to rob. Wait I stopped that long ago. Except for once or twice.... Wait was that not why I got captured? Ahh I don't remember...

"Geez," Cunning mutters, flying around the room to get a good view of the damage, "you'd think whoever did this would have the courtesy to clean up after themselves, huh? I mean, we're the heroes here, not the cleanup crew!"

 

Geez, you'd have to be a friggin' army to get past this lot. Steel Rangers, maybe? Or Enclave?

 

But, true to nature, she swoops down and begins looting the bodies.

 

"Might as well see what goodies they've got," she continues, "'A good salespony never lets an opportunity pass by', that's what my pop always says."

[stable dweller] Elegron catches a glimpse of a blue mark on his EFS and quickly looks in its direction, but whoever was there had already turned the corner.

"wow.... that's..... interesting" he says, salvaging what he can from the armor suits. he sees a very shiny magical shield and picks it up. "anypony want this? I'm not a shield pony." he sets it back down casually before picking up some extra armor plates. maybe he can reinforce his security barding when he gets back.

As your search for useful scrap, you find an entact power armor similar to Dashia's.

see above. You also find a few more rounds for your favorite weapon.

See Elegron's rewards. You also find 1800 Caps to probably split with the group.

Dashia looks to be scanning the area and finds something. She pulls away a small power armor collar like her and stiffins. She moves the body away from all and drops it down a shoot.

 

She then goes over to Dyna and says, "Here this will fit you. If you want I can teach you how to use it. I think it's called Dimolitionists Power Armor."

 

(DT: 15, Grants +5 explosives and you take half damage from Explosive sources.)

Elegron puts on the new armor and it fits him perfectly. It's a little hard to use at first, but as a quick learner Elegron makes do with it. He realizes that it is much like everyone else's armor. Fortunately, he could fix that when he got back to the base.

however, it's too heavy to use effectively without training so he takes it off and stores it for later, putting on his old barding.

As he finishes searching around he picks up yet another drum, finding space to put it. He hears someone mention some sort of a shield. Shouting at the top of his lungs, "Dibs!". He stops to turn as he notices one of the ponies in the armour of his desires. He trots on over to Elegrons side. Looking over the armour on him.

 

"Say Elegron. You would not mind the heavy of the group taking the armour as to... Negate the heavy fire from your direction? Not to mention the armour might weight you down when using that sword of yours? You know just an idea."

 

Armour. Then shield. Got to get the defensive stuff for later.

Dyna looks at the Demolitionist Power Armor and her hair seems to be going back to it's normal state. "Thank you, I would love to learn how to use one of these". She starts to inspect it. "Will it not be rather heavy? Not that I can't lift it.... I think...". Dyna is not entirely familiar with armor, but she does understand the word demolition very well.

Cunning smirks as she gathers eighteen-hundred caps. "This is one hell of a payday!"

 

She raises an eyebrow as something catches her eye.

"Hello, what have we here?" She mutters, inspecting the intact suit of power armour, "Ooh, some special Enclave tech! Wonder how much this would go for?"

 

You idiot. Put the suit on and you have less risk of dying of lead overdose.

Shuddup, I knew that.

 

She shrugs and removes her coat to enter the suit. Her mobility is lessened drastically; as in, she can barely lift a hoof in this thing.

 

"Oh Stars, bad idea," she whines, struggling to escape the metal bodysuit trap, "Somepony help, not in a desired predicament right now." She continues rather snarkily.

Dashia says, "Ok Everypony, I am going to teach you all the basics of power armor usage."

 

-Scene skip-

(All party members gain the 'Power Armor Training - Basic' Perk. Those with Quick Learner can now purchase the power armor training and power armor training - advanced perks as if normal Perks.)

 

"So did yall get that?" Dashia says. She then proceeds to reequip her Enclave Advanced Power Armor Proto-type. She then says, "Now if yall need a refreasher, use this memory orb papa gave me before I left." She pulls out a device and a memory orb. The device allows non-unicorns to make use of memory orbs.

Dyna stands besides Dashia, wearing her Demolitionist Power Armor. She nodded to Dashia's question about 'everypony getting what she said'. "This looks... rather nice. It fits my look". She makes a cute pouted face, standing in a model like pose out of no reason at all. She giggled. "This will be really useful".

Ebony sighed, armor wasn't her thing but was probably nessassary for the next few rooms, "This is ridiculous, how am I meant to quickly access my saddlebags with this thing on?" She said grumpily as she tested the movement fluidity of the armor, "Isn't there a lighter alternative?" She asked as she attached her tesla cannon onto her back, struggling a fair bit. "So, now we all look like comic book characters, can we get a move on? Or are going to let the person who caused this have all the fun?"

A voice that is clearly Mare Doo Wells comes over the comms of the power armors, "To access your inventory think of the pipbuck's inventory management system and you would know how to do so. Now can yall please hurry up before they make Rainbows out of me!"

 

Uh oh...Somepony got captured. Dashia doesn't answer with words but instead moves to head for the next room.

After receiving the training, Cunning feels much more comfortable wearing the light Power Armour. She notices it's on the thin side, so she can easily slide her coat over it.

 

Dare to be different. Or stupid. Either way it works.

 

"Hey, we are, aren't we?" She smirks to Ebony, "We're the New-Age Power Ponies, out to protect a post-apocolyptic Equestria from the forces of evil and rainbow-blood brewers!"

She flutters her wings a bit, getting rather excited about the notion.

 

She perks up at at the sudden voice over the armour's comm-link.

"Oh Stars, I'm hearing voices. Stupid haunted armour, you can never trust 'em." She snarks, following after Dashia into the next room.

Ebony looks over herself, "Ah... buck it, someone needs help and we're here to do just that, pick up the slack guys!" Ebony starts to run the trips due to the unaccustomed weight of the armor. She picks herself up and looks towards Dashia, "You didn't see anything! None of you did!" She warms up her cannon and runs after Dashia, getting used to the armor and the HUD display telling her what's where and where her guns pointing, she they received a warning about some bio-chemical weapon in her bags, she dismissed it and continued to chase up Dashia.

"You will see when we get there Dyna. Normally I wouldn't allow the young this far but your my little sis and I am keeping you close." She says. As she makes to enter the next room she thinks, 'And I will never let Darkeyes have you. Your too precious to me for that. I can't tell her why it fits her so well. It was her body I pulled it from.'

 

Dashia looks to be deep in thought as the group enters the next room. This room has 4 lvl 7 dragoon types 2 lvl 6 armored Unicorns and 1 big burly Armored Pegasus. He says, "YYYEEEAAA! MAKE them into rainbows for master Darkeyes." (Yes he is a different dimension and time version of Bulk Biceps.)

 

Dashia looks too destracted to notice (Perception 2 or more) Mare Doo Well stuck to a table being lifted to a blade like Mechanical Arm.

 

Mare Doo Well says, again in the comms, "Good you brought that shield. Get it to me quick. It is enchanted to be unbreakable. I can only block that blade for do long."

 

The blade lunges for Mare Doo Well, but she deflects it with a strong and quick hoof. Her speed and power are almost the same as Dashia's. However she looks to be slightly faster and stronger.

 

The blade reaches back prepping to try again.

He only takes a few moments in his thoughts before noticing a voice come from no where. He simply shrugged as he charged forward into with the rest. "So I know this armour is heavy, man it is making me thirsty... Hey Cunning, if we survive want to grab a drink?"

 

He charges forward into the large room, spinning up his mini guns, aiming around for anything not friendly.

'Hmm nice room. Where do I get one! After sand. But grab the saw! Oh the loot is endless!'

 

Sand runs for the nearest piece of cover. Crouching down as though he is acting like a turret, giving a large grin as he licks his lips softly.

"Time to save us... Uhh who is that?"

Ebony runs straight into the room and opens a blast of electricity straight at the closest dragoon, throwing him across the room. Her attention quickly turns to another guard pinning her down, a few bullets hitting the armor as she dived behind cover and aimed another shot at the same guard she'd previously hit.
