Dyna looked at her. "I don't think I am very good at lock picking". Dyna tries, but she breaks the bobby pin. "I am sorry" she says with a sad tone. She looked over to where Sand Storm and then focused on the cells once more. "I should not have wasted a bobby pin, they are useful".

"hey don't worry about it, it's no big deal" says Elegron as he slices through the lock on the cage. "of course this won't work for more high tech doors and safes, but these primitive cages are no match for pure energy!" he opens the door, letting out the other pegasus. "hey dyna, if something's bothering you, be sure to tell me. your kinda like a sister to me."

He says a low thanks to Elegron as he turns to head back to the cells. He steps beside the mare who freed him, Speaking in a low tone.

"I owe you one... I think I owe you all." He turns to notice Dyna break the bobby pin as he walks over. To stop as Elegron steps over to slice the cage open. "Okay? Use that... Glowing thing to break all primitive locks. But to be fair, raiders some times make locks hard." Sand closes his eyes, putting his head down as not to let anyone see his face.

 

   I guess I know better than anyone...

"Hey kid, no big deal," Cunning smiles sincerely, for once since she'd met these ponies, and gives her a gentle pat on the head, "I got plenty more'a these!"

 

With another click, the lock opens and the cell door is ajar, allowing the Wonderbolt passage.

"Alrighty, one down and-" She watches Elegron slice through the next cell lock, "Aw, c'mon!" She yells with the wave of a hoof.

 

Sand Storm walks over and gives her his thanks.

"There ya go, was that so hard?" Her smirk returns as she pats his shoulder, and listens as he explains about the locks, "Good, that'll help maintain my purpose on this little team." She jokes.

Dyna looked up at Elegron with a smile. She seemed much happier to hear that. "I am? YAY I  AM SO HAPPY TO HEA--" she stops as she realized everpony would just look at her strangely. She looked down. "Perhaps later, I don't feel like talking about it openly" she says. She gives Cunning a smile as well since she forgave her for the bobby pin.

Dashia says, "To be honest, not all raiders are bad guys. Yea they get into more trouble then an hyperactive foal, but they know they can do better and that is all that counts for me. My name is Cloudia Dashia. However you can call me Dashia."

 

She continues working on the door and a loud click is heard. "Got it. Not a good lock if I could hack the system with ease." The door opens into another room. This room has bodies all Over the place and an angry mare in the center. She says as the last one falls, "I told you not to underestimate me. I am Keysha Dashia. Remeber it, Darkeyes."

 

A dark looking being makes to head deeper into the factory. He is gone before the party could react.

 

Keysha has slited eyes similar to Elegron's.

Sand lifts his head as cunning pats his shoulder. "Yeah if you get past the raiders shooting at you." He simply looks at her as Dyna lets out an outburst, to which he simply ignores, staring at Cunning.

 

   Don't get any Ideas Sand. Raiders are not like this. But then again.

 

   He turns his attention as the door opens up, walking with the group. "Yeah. Raiders like m-" He holds his tongue, trying not to let on of his past. "-I mean a friend I had was a raider near Junction town. But meh." He continues to walk to the door only missing the first part of what the lady had said.

 

   He reels back as the dark being heads deeper. "Uh what was that? Uhh you know, you guys head on. I can guard here." Sand gulps as he watches through the door.

Cunning simply stares back at Sand, her smirk unwavering.

 

What, this guy into me or something? She jokes in her head.

 

She follows the group toward the door as it opens up, glancing aside at Sand as he tells his little story.

 

Somepony's got a little secret~

 

She glances into the room, eyes widening at the dead bodies strewn all over the floor, and the angry mare standing in the centre yelling at them.

"...I think we found the wife," she mutters.

 

She spots the dark being heading deeper inside the factory.

 

There you are again. Just who are you...?

Dyna peeks her head through the door. "She looks like she can handle herself" Dyna said as she giggled, pointing a hoof at Keysha. "One might think a big bomb was dropped here, killing everypony in here... except for her". She notices a dark being, but is unable to say anything before it goes away. "What was that?".

Dashia rushes up to and hugs Krysha, "Moma! Did the meanies hurt you?"

 

Keysha grins and says, "They underestimated me. You know what happens if you underestimate a Dashia, don't you dear?"

 

Dashia grins back, "They get their flanks handed to them on a dragoncrafted platter."

 

The two share a warm hearted laugh. Dashia introduces keysha to Everypony. "Mom, meet my new friends, some are bearers of the elements like me. Friends meet my Mom. She isn't like this unless an enemy underestimates her."

Cunning grins at the little heartwarming display. Always good to see a mom and her daughter reunite.

 

Wonder if mom misses me right now?

 

She cocks an eyebrow at something Dashia says, and glances to the others, as well as down at herself. "Bearers of the what-now?"

She shrugs and gives the older mare a wave. "Hey, Missus Dash'. Way to...clean up in here."

Ebony follows up behind the group slowly tinkering with her bag, not really paying too much attention to what was being said, she was just making sure she didn't fall behind at this point. She made a few more bear traps and then started writing a few notes down in her journal. She noted to herself, 'Use more bait to lead ponies into it , E.G empty ammo clips'. She then thought they might as well be aware. "Guys, when you run out of ammunition, don't throw the magazine away, I can use them in the traps." She then decided to activate her rifle and keep close to the others. "Oh and it's nice to meet you."

Dyna smiled as she saw Dahsia and Keysha hugging. She remembered when she herself had been able to do that. She steered her thoughts away from that. She jumps forth giggling. "Hiya there, I am Dyna Mite. Fun to see you" she giggles. "I guess we are meeting Dashie's entire family" she jokes.

Sand simply stares as everyone approaches Keysha, taking this as his time to slip away, as he passes Ebony, he noticed a considerably higher number in traps.

 

   Oh come on! I guess I am stuck with these people. Hmm. I guess I could try... No Remember what you said Sand... Raiders and what not.

 

Sand turns around, walking back to the group, keeping his distance. "Hey uhh nice meet and greet but you know uh I can stay and guard? You know no one can get by me?" He gives a weary smile in hopes he could persuade them.

 

   Act natural. Stop staring at her.

"hey keysha, your dash's mom eh? pleased to meet you! I'm Elegron." he says with a friendly smile as he walks up beside dash and put a hoof around her shoulder.

'her dad seemed happy with it, so I don't think her mom will complain.' he thinks to himself.

the guide just smirks at him.

 

Elegron notices sand storm acting strange "hey sand, I don't think that's necissary. we can handle anyone who comes in here."

Me looks at Elegron with a still Weary smile. "You sure? I could just stand here? You know warn you of dangers?"

 

   They are not buying it. Wait! I got it!

 

Sand Relaxes as he takes a deep breath. "I left something at the cage. Something valuable that I really need."

 

   He simply scruffs his mane looking at Elegron, "Besides you guys got it?"

Cunning glances over to Sand, smirking. She knows exactly what he's trying to do, and honestly if she didn't have a job to do here, she'd be joining him.

 

"Then why don't I just fly over there and grab it for ya?" She suggests, flapping her wings for emphasis, "I got trap repellent, after all."

 

Let's see this little weenie get outta that.

"that's a great idea" he says, smirking at cunning. "you don't need to go back there, don't worry, your one of us now" he gives sand storm the "I know exactly what your doing" look.

 

'I knew something was up with this guy. at least he's not really a threat of worst comes to worst, but I don't think it will come to that.'

Sand simply smirks. "Okay. A small pendant gave to me by my friend the raider? Yeah well I really need it."

 

   Oh my gosh! Wait get a hold of yourself Sand. Just play it cool.

 

Sand extends a hoof out the door. "If you could, I would be ever so grateful."

 

   Grateful. Heh... Wait is she serious? Oh man they know! Uh quick act natural!

Cunning scoffs, her smirk unwavering.

Is this guy serious?

 

"Well, if this pendant of yours is so valuable," She replies, "then why didn't you grab it on your way out? I certainly didn't see any pendants in the cell when I got your ass outta there."

 

She lets out a laugh and gently punches him on the arm. "Nice try, ya little weenie."

Sand simply groans as Cunning punches him.

 

  Smooth moves Sand, now what will she think, what will they all think?

 

Sand lowers his head, in a sort of depression. "That obvious? I... I am s-" He cuts himself off as he trails away.

 

Come on! Chin up you are still in this.

 

"Can we just go?" Sand starts to slowly walk forward away from the door.

Elegron looks at sand storm for a while. "hey, if something's really bothering you that much, just say something. we don't judge. you might get teased a little but that's about it" he says with a grin. "after all, we're all friends here."

He lifts his head, turning his attention to Elgeron, "After I will tell you. Hmm maybe... Let's just go..." Sand lets out a small sigh as he starts to walk on farther, un-holstering his Sledge and carrying it along the way.

 

   Don't worry, you will be back to your little nest at Junction town soon enough. Maybe they will come along with you.. Chin of Sand.. Just think of her to keep you happy...

Cunning lets out a sigh as Sand starts to look and sound upset, and she floats over to him.

 

"Aww, c'mon Mister Frowny Flanks," she teases, grinning at him, "I was only kidding! I mean, who would wanna be around here, huh?"

 

She gives his sledgehammer a prod with a hoof. "Besides, look at this bad boy. I wouldn't mess with somepony rockin' a sledgehammer. At least not up close, anyway."

 

Aren't I doing just that right now? Wow, well done Cunning. Smartest pony in the world.

Sand perks his head up giving a small smile to Cunning.

 

"I mean the sledge hammer is nice but with no ammo I can't use my Assault rifle... It would be nice not to get shot. You know, range difference."

 

Okay Play it cool Sand this can work out nicely for you, stop staring at her like that! Okay! quick! Look at something else!
