It'd still eb a rut. The thing with competition, there has to be a winner eventually. Vince was always gonna buy WCW. It's just a matter of how much more was it gonna cost?

Do you think Vince would've done anything good with WCW if it had been popular with the crowd the night

Booker T and Buff Bagwell competed on Raw?

Probably. Doubt it would've been any good regardless. He was showing WCW to his own fans. They're WWF loyalists. He should've tried to get Nitro to air on another night on the USA network. Maybe just replace Smackdown with it. Or move it to Saturday. Replace WWF Jacked/Metal/ Shotgun Saturday night. Or move it to MTV to replace Heat.

I could've seen it replacing Smackdown and being presented an alternative to WWF kinda like what NXT.

Would've been smarter business. WCW still had a few million fans. Keep them on board and make some profit. Instead we got the ego trip that was the invasion. The biggest waste of potential. Ever.

I mean, who would've thought that WCW loyalists wouldn't go to the WWF *insert total shock*

I know right?

if they'd just waited until certain contracts were up (Hogan,Flair etc.) they'd probably be even more profitable & popular than they ever could've imagined.

What we got instead was, Family Feud: McMahon Edition.

What a great TNA Rant. One of the best recently and it hits the nail right on the head. When i heard, that no party got the company and Dixie was leeching of more money, that was my confirmation that this women lives in her own world.

I've always heard that Dixie Carter is a very nice woman, and I'm sure she is, but the stories from the talent that has worked for her, does not paint her in a good light. Jim Cornette said Dixie lied to him on the phone about the reason TNA fired him, Vince Russo said that Dixie would always keep things a secret and would not be honest about them. The situations with Konnan, Daffney, and Jesse Sorensen where TNA refused to pay for their medical bills, Victoria told a story to Jim Ross about Dixie snubbing her Pizzeria for another one, and Bruce Pritchard saying Dixie would change things in creative.

I can only imagine Billy Corgan being enraged about this women and i can't blame him. I think she really would rather sink this ship, instead of giving it to someone else.

At this point, she's officially the closest thing to Vince McMahon's R63 counterpart, IMO.

*Is currently watching Raw, and sees Reigns give Rusev a Superman Punch.*

If I can still say one positive thing about Tater Tots at this point, it's that at least his punch as a finisher > Big Show's punch as a finisher.

Wow, that's sad.

I can't believe just a few short years ago, people were singing TNA's praises & now it's the laughing stock of the wrestling business.

It will also remain the laughing stock of prowrestling forever, if Dixie still refuses to sell.

People still talk about WCW and ECW 15 years later. I can't say the same thing about TNA 15 years from now.

She's like Vince McMahon trying to "destroy WWF from the inside" in 2002.

Only difference is, this isn't a storyline.

Such a great promo. Too bad the NWO angle was wasted, after Hogan became Face after Wrestlemania 18.

Say what you want about the Vin Man, but he truly has a great voice for promos and also for commentating.

Seriously, him commentating Wrestling in the 80s and 90s was wonderful.

It's always interesting to go back and watch old clips where he was the good guy commentator & then fast forward to

the Attitude Era & he's the most hated man in the WWF.

He's one of the best actors in wrestling, IMO. (From a character standpoint, I mean.)

>Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com reports that “there are very serious talks with Bill Goldberg going on right now” and says it’s possible that a deal has already been done.

>On Wrestling Observer Radio, Meltzer used the phrase “where there’s smoke, there’s fire” when it comes to Goldberg being featured so prominently in the #WWE2K17 video game.

>Goldberg is currently scheduled to be on ESPN’s SportsCenter this Wednesday and it’s expected that he will be talking about his relationship with WWE which was teased on #RAW

>Meltzer believes that there is something going on beyond the video game and WWE/Goldberg are at the “very serious discussions” stages “at worst.”

You know, i think there is really something that bothers me about it and i put the fact aside that it's Goldberg. If you like him, no problem. My 10 year older big bro, was also a big fan of him and he watches this sport even longer then me.

What actually bothers me, is that Goldberg obviously comes to the WWE to have a match with somebody and most likely at Wrestlemania 33. I have 2 problems with that.

1. They put a former wrestler, who hasn't wrestled in almost 15 years, on the big show, pretty much taking away this spot for a young and upcoming star.

2. (only if that is really the case) If Goldberg Wrestles one of the upcoming stars and beats him, Vince pretty much says "i hate my roster."

It got on my nerves at Mania 31 and even more at Mania 32, that Vince puts the past in the spotlight and not the future.

Again, i respect the legends and always will be. But we really should look forward and maybe create new legends.

Anyone else enjoy a good WWE YouTube Poop every now and then?:

I had no idea YTP of WWE existed. But, I would much prefer actual sentences and clever placement of words, than wacky effects and messed up sound.

Although, this one kind of made me laugh, just cause how weird it was. Especially Lesnar and Ambroses'.
