Ahuizotl is actually exactly what his name says.

The ahuizotl is a mythological Aztec creature. It was said to imitate the crying of small human children in order to lure in adults.

It would then drag them under water with it's hand like tail to drown them before eating their nails and eyes.

 

I'm not making this up. XD

 

No she's not.

Well I think of Izel as being ultimately good (her father's basically retired from the "muahahaha, conquer the world" thing by the time she comes around, but I won't go into details about that here), but she's more likely to do morality questionable things to get the job done.

 

She's almost exclusively raised by her mother. And I was actually thinking that she'll never get a cutie mark. I don't think all pony hybrids are able to get cutie marks. It's actually a potential source of character conflict when she's a kid, bothered that she doesn't get one, until Ahuizotl nips that insecurity in the bud, basically telling her that HE doesn't need an image stamped on his rear to tell him what to do with his life and neither does she (yes that's a superficial understanding of what cutie marks signify, but he's not a pony, XD).

 

But she does love treasure and artifacts and other cultures, and studies archaeology like her mother did.

She'll also live in Canterlot for a time while pursuing her studies. And no, she has no role with the mane 6, or their kids really.

I'm playing with the ideas that she'll be pen pals with one of the other next gen kids in the cast, but they've never met face to face.
