It's good to get out sometimes, especially when you're isolated at home cause the rest of your local community (save for a few others) don't know or like you for being too weird for them. It's not easy making friends, as people who are ND will know, so it's nice when I can at least do things with my immediate family. And talk to you guys, you guys are pretty much the only people who not only are weird enough yourselves, but accept my weirdness too. Too bad the IRl world refuses to be like so. Raskolnikov 1,716 June 30 Share June 30 (edited) Wasn't feeling great so I went out for a walk by the seafront and sat on a bench, it wasn't *really* helping and I didn't feel all that present... then two old ladies and their small dog came over and we had a chat even though I didn't know them, they got concerned for me when I mentioned missing home a lot and were really nice about my fluency and job when I sounded somewhat diminished about it... they didn't even know me and still treated me like a friend and it actually really brightened up my mood, I couldn't really feel bad after that These old ladies when they die: Edited June 30 by Raskolnikov 1 5 "None are more hopelessly enslaved than those who falsely believe they are free."
