"Well, I'm glad we got that sorted out," said Vital Spark.

 

She stepped forward and offered her hoof for a hoofshake. "My name's Vital Spark. I'm an inventor, mostly, but it seems like for now I'm a delivery pony. I'm also pretty good at repairs, mechanical work… that kind of thing. As an inventor it goes with the territory."

Tempest reaches for Vitals hoof and gives it a little shake "nice to meet you. I happen to be very Talented in Mage like magic. I know how to effectively use and weaponize my magic, which includes wind magic, ice magic, and lightning magic" i say with a friendly smile.

Zefira rolls her eyes at the ponies and continues on her path.
Definitely not like my brethren back at the brotherhood. Zefira thinks to herself as she looks out to the horizon.
She looked back at Tempest and gave a slight smile.
"Nice to meet you, Tempest. If introductions are out of the way, I would like to get a move on." 
Zefira gave a short sigh as she knew this trip was gonna take much longer. Even if the ponies could handle themselves, she wasn't optimistic about their relationships.

Dyna continued walking, walking past Zefira. "Whenever you are ready". She walked past her, not really waiting. She looked at Emerald and Vital. "Hey guys, shall we continue moving? Might want to cover some ground before we settle down for the night and make a camp".

"alright" Tempest said in Acknowledgement to Zefiras statement. The immediate thoughts running through Tempests head is that everyone seems to be annoyed with, or dislike Zefira. her passive agressiveness in wanting to get a move on rubbed Tempest the wrong way a little, but she figured she could just be having a rough day. Tempest shrugged it off and decided she would judge Zefira for herself and give her another chance.

"Yeah, I guess so. But if something exciting doesn't happen soon I'm going to kill myself." Emerald was speaking sarcastically, of course. But all she wanted was for one real fight to happen, so her position as 'attack' wouldn't seem useless. And she could maybe prove she was more than nothing to Zefira.

"Let's get a move on then, girls." Vital Spark flew into the air and hovered over the path just ahead of the group in the direction they'd been travelling. She peered around them, scouting for and dangers or obstacles up ahead, but nothing looked out of the ordinary so far. ((OOC: Rainbow Dash, feel free to let me know in the OOC thread if you want me to spot anything suspicious.))

 

She waited for the other ponies to get moving.

Zefira watched as Dyna trotted past her in a sort of passive aggressive manner. Zefira shook it off and trotted along with the group. She looked up at Vital Spark and smiled as she thought to herself, Pegasi make good scouts....fast...nimble...cover more ground than I could. 

**As the group trotted along they left the dusty town of Dodge behind and made their approach to Rambling Rock Ridge**

"You have got to be kidding me." She sighed. "Alright, wingsy," She was referring to Vital Spark. "Let's check this thing out. Fly over and I'll meet you on the other side." Emerald approached the bridge with caution, she put one hoof in front of the other and slowly began to walk. The bridge was creaky and cracked a couple times under her hooves. Sweet Celestia who designed this thing?

Dyna followed and stopped near the bridge. She waited for Emerald to finish checking if the bridge was in good condition to pass over. "I hope this wagon is not too heavy for this bridge. Wouldn't want to have to take another longer route, not that I'm not up to it" she thought.

Tempest trotted along beside the other ponies quietly. she wasn't quite sure what was going on between the others and she didn't want to poke her nose in their business, so she decided she wouldn't. instead she would fallow them until she was needed for something, and being highly skilled in magic, there was much potential in her to help the others.

Zefira fell back from the group. The bridge was decrepit, but it could hold the weight of two carts. Some of the boards looked warped, but the rope holding the bridge there was strong. Zefira felt that she could easily cross the bridge, so she should stay behind so as not to show off when she crossed the bridge.

Tempest noticed that Zefira was falling behind just a little and she slowed her pace and stayed back with her. maybe it was smart that we won't all cross the bridge at once. this thing didnt look like the best bridge and Tempest knew it. "smart thinking" said Tempest to Zefira with a bit of a smile.

Zefira smiles at Tempest as she falls behind with her.
"I'm falling behind because I can easily cross the bridge. I didnt want to show boat cause it would make the others dislike me." Zefira said. She already had a feeling she wasn't liked among the others, but didn't want to stir anything up.

Vital Spark flew across the ravine to the other side of the ridge. Watching the other ponies cross, she had another idea. She flew to the bridge, hovering over the centre of it, ready to catch any pony that fell should the bridge not hold up. She knew she would not be strong enough to rescue the wagon, should it fall, but whatever the value of the goods they were transporting, saving a pony's life would be more important.

She watched the ponies cross and saw Vital fly under the bridge. She cracked a smile and chuckled.
"We got a team player...i wonder if she likes her feathers massaged."

**A faint booming noise echoes throughout the ridge**

Emerald reached the opposite side of the ridge. "Alright, you guys it'll stay in one piece if we go one pony at a time! If anypony falls, Vital will catch you and bring you back here. Also we need a pony with lots of magic power to levitate the cart over here, I don't think it'll hold if we roll it."

After hearing what Emerald had to say, Dyna looked at Tempest. "You have been boasting that you are good with magic. I guess it is time for you to show us what you can do". Dyna started to loosen the straps so that she wouldn't be levitated along with the wagon.

"Hmm? Did I say that out loud?" Zefira chuckles.
She hears a noise echo through the ridge and shrugs. She guessed that there was some construction going on in the distance or maybe some miners using dynamite. Whatever the noise was, it didn't seem to be all that important.

"You heard the mare, lets cross this bridge!" Zefira shouted, wondering why some ponies were dragging their behinds.
If they are this scared to cross a bridge, i don think they will make it pass the next parts. Zefira thought to herself.

 Tempest looked at Zefira a little puzzled "yeah, you did" she replied. however, she still didn't have an answer. she was too curious for her own good, but Zefira obviously wanted to get moving so Tempest stepped onto the bridge and calmly began to traverse it, despite it's height or stability, or lack of stability thereof.

Dyna had been patiently waiting for Tempest, but now was a little bit angry. "Didn't you hear what I said? Or what she said?" Dyna pointed at Emerald. "Cart needs a magic lift, hello". Dyna pouted angrily as waited for Tempest.

"And they say the strength of the earth ponies has faded" said tempest with a tinge of sarcasm and irony as her horn began to glow with a yellow aura. The same yellow aura began surrounding the two carts as they slowly  began to levetate off of the ground

"It shouldnt take this long to cross a bucking bridge!" She was getting irritated as all the other mares did was stand around and stare. If Zefira was with her brethren, they would have been at the destination already.
