Oh it is faaaaar more than ponies in Fallout. It truly synthesizes the two worlds in such a way that it creates it's own mythology. Each Fallout enemy, setting, weapon, and character has a rough counterpart but not in such a way that you can draw a line to each.

Yea that was my thought on it originally jumping in, then I realized it was based off a story. Then from the wiki begun learning more and more of how it tied itself into its own world.

Uhhhhh . . . Cloudsdayle is gone. It was the first city hit with the mega-spells.

 

Hey we could make two documents. One with the story and the other for the editing and talking etc.

Though she calls it Cloudsdayle, it is more of a New Cloudsdayle. So that could be what she is referring to.

From what I have read on lore Cloudsdayle still existed.

Cloudsdayle got directly hit by a mega spell and most likely evaporated according to the fallout eq wiki, which is usually right.

I'll be honest I stopped reading/listening around chapter 25 cause scorchmechanic stopped making audio books there, so I don't know if flying fortresses are canon

Well you can create your own similar to cloudsdale. Not necessarily a floating fortress/metal city able to float. Honestly to rebuild a city constructed of clouds would be that difficult

 

Unless you try to make it where anypony can walk on Cloudsdale

I had envisioned it as a city built and maintained by Dashites. A place for those who feel helping the surface regain its lost harmony. Dashia's father is an ex General of the old enclave. Her mother is a stable dweller who happens to be good with cybernetics and how to deal and work with them. Her job as a medical Unicorn made her one of high demand when dealing with many injured.

 

However the new leadership of the enclave wanted her father to prove his loyalty by killing her mother while she was pregnant with Dashia. He refused and was branded a Dashite Because of it.

The original idea was that cloudmetal was used to reinforce the city allowing non pegasi to walk within the city. However only those who are pegasi or Griffins can use the cloud councils.

Ok got an idea. New Cloudsdayle is an airship that was decomitioned by the enclave before it's fall and the Dashites got it to be fully functional again and that became what is now New Cloudsdayle.
