Why is fleur Dis Lee the only other pony with a princess like body?

I think so but they didn't need to make her look like an Alicorn to do so. I keep telling people. MLP is amateur hour when it comes to the animation.

I think of it as a perfectly natural body type for ponies, just a rare one. Same thing happens with human beings.

It's just aesthetics. I see it as a powerful form with greater height and strength. Also more graceful with curves. If it wasn't just for them then it would mean that Alicorns would be less special.

That doesn't make much sense since we've seen mares that size before, they just didn't have the graceful curves. And again, Fleur is supposed to be a super model style character. I think it's completely possible that some ponies could be rarely blessed with that sort of figure naturally.

After all Twilight didn't get that look after ascension (thank God). And what if a stallion ascended?

Speaking of height boost, here's some screen shots:

 

As you can see, Fleur is only a couple inches taller than the Mane six.

 

 

 

But Luna is nearly a head and a half taller.

 

 

 

And then came Cadance, at about a head or half a head taller.

 

 

 

They have a similar body structure, but the princesses (with the exception of Twilight) are all plenty bigger than Fleur.

Just like it would be a awful message if only unicorns could be alicorns (which some people believe).

I think her height is because she is bluebloods sister and shares the same genetics as Luna

There are also other ponies such as the Headless Horse, the Mane-iac, "Tropical Dream", Sassy Saddles, S06E20 Unnamed Earth Mare #8, S06E20 Unnamed Earth Mare #9, and S06E20 Unnamed Earth Mare #10. Additional fact: In the MLP mobile game, Fleur dis Lee had wings and was an alicorn, although that was an error.

Sadly this issue already happened with EQG where Spike isn't allowed to be human because of how apparently dragons(despite being freaking sapient as other creatures like ponies) are dogs(that are freaking non-sapient for the human world counterparts' case) instead of humans in the human world.

It's just a rare body type, not unique to her and the princesses. Other ponies have it too but that's how life is.

I first tought that they did not make them a human was because he would be a boy who belongs into the elementary school instead of the high school. I either don't like him to be a dog, but this would actually made sense for me. But on the other side, the CMC are also in the same classes as the other students ... and they are a lot younger.

Funny thing is the show indirectly hinted to Luna being an Earth Pony be her turn to an alicorn. You can tell by her hair. 

Celestia and Twilight have the same hair type, showing she was a unicorn. Candance had the official chapter book (which is higher in the continuity scale than most of the comics minus Season 10) and has gradients in her wings -like with Cozy Glow when she was turned into an alicorn- showing she's a pegasus- yet Luna has her own unique hair showing she was an Earth pony prior... at least how I see it.

We're still have nothing showing stallions can be actual alicorns but given Stygion's transformation and What Saw Tooth predicts with what could happen to Shining, I wouldn't be surprised if there was one before or one to come.

I don’t think it’s especially posh, but rather aesthetically attractive. Photo Finish is a photographer, not a model. She doesn’t need to look like a stunner to make beautiful pictures.

I definitely don’t think that that is what they were trying to hint at. Also I still subscribe to the “born alicorns” theory for Celestia and Luna.

And the whole Flurry Heart bit didn't disapprove that theory due to they were talking about no new baby Alicorns were born after Equestria was formed(till now).
The fact Luna and Celestia couldn't understand was going on is probably due to the scenario of the parents are not both alicorns.
That and maybe they didn't get to know everything about their own kind before something happened to their parents/the rest of the alicorns from their past.

Yeah, Posh was not the correct word because there are also a lot of posh ponies who have normal bodies. Aesthetically attractive fits better. But I did not find the right word.

Good points. I but given that Luna said they never seen any alicorns being born, given their ages, what they (mostly Celestia tbh) went through and what happened to Twilight after the time skip where she now matches Celestia's style and height. I am unsure of that. Still, Iunderstand what you mean and why you'd subscribe to that theory.

Now THAT is the best explanation to the whole Flurry deal and makes a ton of sense. Also some fan punnet squares helped explain the rarity as well but that is a whole other field.

Who says Alicorns are from Equestria? Equestria was founded by the Unicorn, Pegasi, and Earth ponies and originally governed by them. Celestia and Luna arrived later.

I know, I had saw someone else bring that up to me after I already replied but the fact that Starswirl found and taught them does raise eye brows, especially given the fact that in the books, it was mention he randomly found them. Still. meh
