MLP Fan Fiction Crossovers: What do you think of them?

So we have read them and found some to be enjoyable and some just god awful, i enjoy a good DB version, as long as the character fits his personality from the show. As for the others, well... that a whole other story. So here are my favorite Crossovers:

 

1. Goku in Equestria

2.  The Fullmetal Human: The Making of Friendship

3. Fallout Equestria Series

 

Now that you've seen mine, i want to know what you guys have for yours.

Some but not all. I don't think Fallout Equestria is a very sensical crossover because Fallout and MLP are completely different with barely any connection since Fallout is dark, apocalyptic, and gritty, while MLP is a more colorful, cute, and focuses on friendship. I think Kingdom Hearts would crossover better since it's got friendship themes to it, as well as colorful art style, and cute iconic Disney characters.

 

MLP crossovers I like are usually G4 versions of ponies from other franchises such as Epona:

If you think of doing DMC, you may want to study up on any of the three versions before you do. I personally like the 2nd version of dante, i guess i ike rude and disrespectful characters.

Fallout Equestria has to be the best fanfiction I've ever read.

It's hit or miss. For some, there is a logical connection between MLP and the other source so it works. Other times, they're just cramming in ponies in something else and expecting it to work. It does not.  But I think the fandom as a whole tends to cross over things with MLP waaaay too much.

Those are actual fanfics, GRD. 

The dante i showed was designed based on western perspective, and was fearless and confident. And one of the most interesting character versions i've ever seen. In a fanfic, i just hope they don't drag his name through the mud.

Honestly, the countless number of half-assed mods and reskins in the modding community that saturate the workshop, nexus, basically every modding site is what does it for me. I can just ignore them but they still bother me and I don't like them.

There's a whole bunch of examples at tf2ponymods or mlptf2mods or whatever the place was called

I'm not a fan of MLP crossovers, personally. I like MLP because it is what it is, and it isn't what it isn't. When I want other things I find something that doesn't involve MLP.

I personally love them if they are done right. I mean as long as it can be made to work it should be fun.

 

Personally, I'd love to see the blow made reality in some fashion.

I despise crossovers of any sort. It's one of the tags that I opt out of when I search through stories on FIMFiction.

I never got why they would even give Octavia a katana, really doesn't fit her character.

Never been that big of a fan of cross over materails.  LIke I think fallout eqturai failed to capture anyting remotly close to blending the two worlds together. it wfelt like oil and water, they just don't mix. The fic iself was references everywehre and sole refernece the point of a plot thread (go to canterlot to refernec ea lot of dead money) Yeah...it didn't mix.

 

Crossovers that blaintly focus on the crossover source rather then the world they are setting inot ruin the point of crossovers. Just feel like X thing with mlp slapped on it.

Think most of it is just people not really knowing anything about the characters they use and just start taking guesses at what they might do in any given situation.
