Anyway, 2nd most intelligent species on earth, they want to pass a law in which they are to be treated as non-human people (sounds-weird)... in other words, if you kill a dolphin you would get the same punishment as killing a human.

Yes... but if you rewatch the HWE episode.... the ponies moved to equestria cuz they oculdnt grow food (well,,, that was one of the reasons)... and lets remember these were the unis that raised the sun and moon.... If they couldnt grow food....

Yes, I myself watched it, but that doesn't necessarily mean that every pony in the RP world knows of it or even believes in it
