Some Nature Pictures

Hi there, not sure if there's someplace I was supposed to put this kind of thing already or not, if there was I'm sorry and please direct me to the proper place.

 

 

So I was looking around on my computer and found some sort-of older nature pictures that I took, and some were pretty cool. I separated most of the good from the meh and decided to show what I've got.

 

To give you a general idea of some of the pics: I got some nice pictures of things like: Just nature, a small whirlpool (in a stream) that you could see almost all the way down to it's end, birds(Some common ones(One of which stole nearly an entire tortilla) and some not so common), and a couple of insects(Butterflies and a Dragonfly).

I gotta say the whirlpool is really cool but it also confuses me! The bird pics are awesome!!

They all look really good! Amazing area, Where is it? I love it! I do nature photography to but since i live in sweden it motsly just pine pines pines and more pines :I

Most of these were taken in the mangroves of Key Largo, I think. The others were taken in the Shark Valley nature park/trail in up around Miami Florida, USA.

The pictures are great. One weird thought struck me after seeing the first two. "I'm glad that the bird flushed when he was done!"

As for whether or not I do photography a lot... Not really. I don't do it as a career or as a hobby(Though I wouldn't mind doing it as either or both), I just happened to have brought my camera with me while I was there. It is very fun to take pictures when I get the chance... Unfortunately, Living in a city makes getting good pictures a bit hard. I wish I lived in a more country-side area...

Thank you very much! I'm extremely surprised and flattered at the amount of positive feedback I'm getting on these. To be honest, I always thought I sucked at taking photos.

 

The animals are my favorites too, the bird that looks to be posing especially.

 

Also, if you click on the picture and scroll towards a point, it's like your zooming in. This is best for the insects and they look amazing when you do that, especially the butterfly. You can even see it's eyes.
