Rave looked at where he could see Spellbind. He waved at her, then he looked at Assasin. "Uhm, we are just really.... uhm.... friends I guess. She is my boss though.... she is our boss". He looked for Tyra, trying to find her. He wanted to apologize to her as he had been a little bit hard on her.

It was still storming as a wave crashed against the ship, Caramel could barely control the wheel. "Stupid me with my pride, why did I send them away." she thought out loud. Another wave crashed against the ship, this time Caramel couldn't control her balance as so she fell to the ground. With a lot of effort she picked herself up again. She grabbed the steering wheel but she already to late as it had already been spinning out of control. The ship was going spin too. She clung herself to the wheel, this is not gonna end well.

Wilhelm landed next to her, spreading his wings against the wind to keep stable. He held on to the wheel and, with all his strength, started turning it in the other direction, attempting to halt the spin, which was now catching the wind in the sails, making them heel over to the side. "Caramel, little help here? From what I saw, the storm's nearly over-we're getting close to the eye now, and then it's another straight run out!"

"Thanks, it does look like the storm is almost over. I can see a bit of sunlight coming through the clouds. Let's just hope we'll make it in time." Caramel said with an unsure smile at Wilhelm. Her wet mane was hanging in front of her eyes so she shook her head. She heard a sound of ripping, the sails. "Please just hold on a little longer." Caramel begged. Goddess of the wind, Ninlil, what have I ever done to you to deserve this." she cried out.

Tyra felt the ship rocking violently side to side from the storm, moving her around in the hammock. She wondered if Caramel was doing alright on her own. She hopped off her bed and attempted to walk outside, but suddenly the rocking soothed, and the ship began sailing smoothly again.

 

"Are captains capable of such control?" She wondered out loud as she exited the cabin and walked up to the deck. Indeed, the storm had calmed. She trotted up to Caramel and shook herself off, like a wet dog, "Apologies Captain, is all well now?"

Wilhelm let out a very long string of curses to no deity in particular, handed Caramel the wheel, and flew up and around the sails, dragging ropes from the supply under the deck, attempting to splice the ropes Tyra had cut in the few minutes he had left. However, when he was doing the last rope on the bow sail, the sail snapped back, with the boom hitting him full in the face and knocking him backwards. Unconscious, he started to skid across the deck, heading for rail and then the churning water.

 

 

OOC: The sails should be okay for the rest of the storm, but it's a rush job, and definitely won't last much longer.

"Not now Tyra, we gotta get to Wilhelm before he slides into the water." Caramel started running towards Wilhelm. "Hold on buddy, we're coming for ye." Caramel grabbed him by his hoof, pulling him away from the ships edge. She then grabbed a bucket of water to throw it over his face. *splash* "I hope this will wake ye up."

Lordy, which mostly slept through the beggining of the storm woke up in the confussion.

"What is goin o...." the ship tilted a bit sending him off his hammock. He noticed water slowly puring in from the deck and saw what seemed like lightning. He got on deck and saw all the chaos. He then noticed the sails were open and stretched to their maximum... in the middle of a storm... (thats what i understood at least)

 

"Ummm... not trying to say anything but..." he slipped as a wave hit the ship

"ow,... wouldnt it be better to close the sails... it would give us a lot more control over the ship..."

Wilhelm woke up, sputtering. The faces of the other ponies refused to come into focus, and he couldn't see too far; his glasses were broken. He stood up, still woozy, and stumbled around a bit before flopping down on the deck. "What....in...Celestia's name...happened?"

"I opened the sails so that we could get sail away from this storm as possible. It seems the working, look we're finally sailing away from the storm." Caramel said as she pointed towards the little bit of sunlight coming trough the cloud. She threw another bucket of cold water of wilhelm's face. "Wilhelm, wake up buddy" she said worried. He finally woke. "Ye passed out, that's what happened, are ye okay?" she said as she raised him on his hoofs again.

Tyra cocked her head, and looked down to the deck, gasping as she noticed an unconscious Wilhelm sliding toward the water.

She and Caramel rushed to his aid, pulling him into the middle.

 

She watched as Caramel splashed him with water, and she gave him a small slap in the face for good measure.

 

She grinned with relief as he came around, albeit slowly. "You were knocked unconscious, and were nearly sent into the water! But we have saved you!"

"I don't need any saving! Gah, all of you ponies.....I would have been fine!" A tiny smile made itself home on Wilhelm's face, and the relief in his eyes belied his statement. "But thanks anyway. Actually, ow." He touched a hoof to his cheek. "Tyra is a bit slap-happy." The smile grew larger.

Caramel smiled as the sunlight came through the clouds. "We made it, wooh!!!" Caramel yelled in joy. "The storm has past, finally." she said looking at the shimmering water. "Has anyone seen Rave, Spellblind or Violet? I hope they didn't fell of the ship." she said looking around worried. She noticed the ship was pretty run down. "Looks like we gotta fix all this first before we get to sail any further."

Tyra looked up to Caramel with a grin. "I last saw those three below deck, I am almost certain they are safe!"

 

She glanced around the ship; indeed, it did take a bit of a thrashing after that storm.

She looked back up to her captain, confident that she could help much better this time. "How may I help?"

Rave was standing near the wheel. "I am here Tyra" he said out loud. He looked at the sails and shook his head. He then looked at the rest of the ship, seeing the state it was in. "Yes, the ship is going to need some repairing" he declared. "I do hope we have the materials to do so".

Tyra's mood seemed to instantly dip at Rave's appearance, as she let out an indignant snort at him. Obviously she was still sore about earlier. Especially at how he looked up at the sails, not seeming impressed.

 

"Well, I am glad you're unharmed..." She muttered, glancing aside.

"I don't think I have materials for these sort of repairs. I can look around the ship. I might have a spare sail, if that is fixed we might be able sail further. The other repairs can come later." Caramel said. She heard a weird sound coming from the back of the ship. "What's that as she walked towards the sound. Oh no, the anchor is still in water. That's why we're moving so slow." With all the power Caramel had left, she pulled it back up. She stumble back to the crew, when she noticed that she was not feeling okay. "Guys, I'm not feeling all that well." Her eyes went black as she fell down on the floor.

"Right here," said Spellbind. She did sometimes imagine falling off a ship and swimming her way back to land. It would be terrifying because of her huge phobia of marine life. "And yes, it probably would be a good idea for us to get to work fixing up this baby."

Rave picked up Caramel with his hooves, put her on his back and walked with her below deck. He arrived at her bed. He laid her there down. "Here, rest now captain, we will try to handle the situation, alright? I will see what I can do, rest now and be at ease" he said to her, in a soothing manner.

Wilhelm, as chief fixing person, was down in the cargo hold, inventorying the materials they had. It came out to one spare sail, several planks of wood they could use to repair the hull, enough ropes, heavy-duty sea thread, and needle to repair the other sail, and boards they could use to fix the broken windows until they got to the next port. He sighed. However, they were also missing several items they needed to fully get the ship to optimal condition again. He went back above deck to report his findings.

violet woke with a jolt, to ponies shouting, and water leaking from the ceiling. 'crap' she thought, as she rushed up the stairs, flew onto the deck, and shouted, "anything i can do to help?! ill unfurl the-" she saw the sails were already out. "oh." she looked around and saw the they had passed the storm already. she looked back at them."so...i missed it all?" they nodded. "okay..." she flew up to the crows nest. "i should've been with them." she muttered. "i should have seen the storm coming. i should have unfurled the sails..." she sighed. "the're my friends, and i let them down..." flare flew up next to her. "flare, i need to do better." she said, as she pet him.

"No please, please don't send her away. She doesn't deserve this. It was just an accident. Please, it wasn't her fault. You can't just send away your own daughter. Please, just let her stay. If she can't stay then I won't stay either. Fine. I hate you, you are the worst parents ever!!" Caramel woke up from her own screaming, tears rolling form her eyes. "Stupid nightmare, if ye can even call it that." she thought. She wanted to sit up straight until she fell the pain in all over her body."What the in the name Celestia happened? How did I end up in my bed? Why can't I move my legs and why does my head hurt so much? Why does everything hurt"

Rave turned his head back before he had completely left the room. He ran up to Caramel's bed. "Caramel I---" Rave realized that he did not call her captain. "Uhm Captain" he said blushing "you blacked out, so I brought you over here, are you alright?" he was now standing right by her bed, ready to support her. He had heard her dreaming and was ready to give her support.

"I'm certainly not alright, every freaking bone in my body hurts, what do ye think.'' Caramel said as she tried to sit up straight again. I need some rum!" she yelled but immediately coughed as she didn't have enough energy to yell. "Ye didn't here everything from my dream, did ye? I mean, thanks for bringing me here."

"I--I--.... I heard" he said to her quietly. "I don't know about your past, I know it is not my place, I am well below you, but you can talk to me whenever you want about it, ok? You must be experiencing a lot of pain due to your body being really strained after a lot of physical distress". Rave sat on the bed, next to her. "I might know a few healing spells that should make it.... less painful, make you more relaxed". Rave's horn started to glow with a soft blue light and he focused on Caramel.
