"Aye, I agree," Tyra nodded, grin unwavering, "the sea has a limitlessness that is unmatched!"

 

She perked her ears up at the sound, and snickered with a smirk.

 

"I wonder how Rave is faring, after that attack?" She asked, glancing up to the ship, "He seems to be much better now!"

Caramel jumped out of the water and got back on the ship. "Watch out, here I come." Caramel flew upwards, not too high but high enough for a big splash. She stopped flying, dropping herself down, landing into the water with a big splash, she was pretty sure Tyra and Spellblind got water into their faces. "Woh that was fun. I wanna do that again, anyone wanna join me?"

Tyra perked up as she watched Caramel fly up into the air, and made a big splash in the water and getting water in her face.

 

Instead of being bothered by it, she simply spluttered the water from her mouth, and laughed as she shook water off her head.

"A fine dive, my friend!" She yelled to her.

 

At her request, she lit up and raised a hoof. "Aye, I wish to join you!" She looked to Spellbind with a grin. "Why don't you join us, my friend? We can all go together!"

Spellbind grinned at the prospect. Diving certainly seemed fun if she closed her eyes and mouth. Having her eyes open underwater was bad enough, but doing in the salty seawater would probably be unpleasant.

 

"Well... I don't have wings like you Caramel, I'll have to dive off the ship."

"No need for that." Caramel grabbed Spellblind from the water and flew up. Not too high, she didn't want to scare her. "Are ye ready, here we go!" she dropped Spellblind down, Caramel watched her as she dove into the water with a big splash. Caramel did the same as she dropped herself down again, landing in the water near Spellblind.

Tyra grinned and climbed up the ship's side with the other two mares, ready to join them.

She watched Spellbind plunge into the blue below with a huge splash, and she joined Caramel in a dive with a cheerful yell.

 

The resulting splash was a big one, near the unicorn.

So I can't go as high as that. Well it's not she's going to pick me up and... WAIT WHAT?!

 

Spellbind was dropped from a height and landed in the water, spraying it everywhere.

 

Now that she had swam back up, she opened her eyes.

 

SPLASH!

 

There was Caramel.

 

"Wow. Thanks," she said, not mad at all.

While walking aimlessly in the jungle, Lordy fell in a concealed hole. It was about 5m deep with steep, slippery edges, with 1m of water at the bottom, meaning he was stuck there. He saw something moving in the water and climbed on a root that was sticking out of the wall. Desperately he fired a shot in the air.

Tyra laughed and put an arm around Spellbind. "Do not be so grumpy, my friend! It is all for fun, yes?"

 

She gave her a wide grin, to tell her there were no hard feelings to anyone.

 

She perked up as a gunshot sounded, coming from the island.

"Do you think somepony is in trouble?" She gasped, and glanced to her companions, "We should go and help!"

Assassin quickly heard the shot, she was desperate to find who fired that shot. She quickly wen to the jungle and used her talent to find a pony in a hole. She shouted, "Hey, you're that thief who joined us. Why are you in there?". Assassin jumped in without thinking and tried to take Lordy out. "Great, you're heavy and now I'm stuck here.", she said. She fired another shot from her blade.

Wilhelm shrugged, gesturing down the hallway. "For treasure, ponies will do the strangest things... Includng me. Onwards, to victory, an escape route, and lots of shiny materials that likely have no practical value!" At this last bit, he giggled slightly, adjusted his glasses, and then flew down the tunnel, trying to catch up to Violet.

"Youd better get out of the water and get on this brach... Theres sometimg there..."

He looks down at the water,

"And i got lost... Thats how i fell down here. Alao, the 'theif'... That didnt really steal anything has a name."

 

He shoot another shot in the air, a bird falls down the hole, into the water below.

"Huh, would you look at that."

 

A small wave in the water appears abd the dead bird disappears under water,

 

"Better come up here, fast!"

 

Lordy stretched his musket to pull her out.

Assassin observed and quickly tried to get out. She managed to grab a gap between two rocks and hang. She looked at Lordy and shouted, "Okay, that is pretty scary. Come out quickly!". She fired another shot, wishing the captain to recognise this signal and come.

Rave came out of the memory crystal shaking. He had just witnessed the battle for the Crystal Empire. His forefather Blackforest leading the Crystal Army. He was not proud though. A lot of good lives had been lost. "So I have a forefather that was insane?". "And what makes him insane? Are you any better?".

violet was generally just goofing about, poking at this lever and that. she would occasionally pick up a skull, and look at it for a second before throwing it. "so, you think this place has an exit?" she asked wilhelm. "then wouldn't it make sense if we traveled along one side? that way, we'll come across a door sooner or later!"

Wilhelm shrugged. "Good idea. But I believe that any wood doors would be dessicated in this heat and humidity; what are we looking for? Secret passageways? I mean, it's a good idea, but- Oh, well, look at that." While he was rambling, the two ponies had walked into a circular chamber, strangely well-maintained. At this, Wilhelm let out a soft whistle. "Well, somepony's been taking care of this. Awfully strange, that..."

 

He walked over to the first door, on the left, and put his face up to it; behind it, he saw nothing but a further tunnel stretching into the dark and then abruptly sloping down. "Nope, that's not a exit." The other door looked firmly locked, but behind it was the faintest edge of sunlight shining through the edges. Trying the door, it was durable, and yes, locked. Wilhelm stepped back a bit, obviously intending to try breaking it down, and then thought better of it. 

 

He turned towards Violet, smiling vaguely deviously. "Nearly forgot we had a strongmare in the group. Group? If it was only two ponies, would it be a crowd, or a group, or a..." Wilhelm hit his head against the wall, and then, stepping back, sighed slightly. Taking a deep breath and collecting his thoughts, he said "What I mean is, Violet, I suppose a door like this wouldn't be troubling for you?"

violet grined, and cracked her hooves. "not troubling at all!" she said, as she waved wilhelm away from the door. she gave an almighty side-kick to it, but it didnt budge.

 

"huh?"

 

violet looked at it for a couple seconds, before taking off her leg-weights, and trying again, with double the amount of strength.

 

it crashed inwards, and she grinned. "there we go!" she said as she put her weights back on.

Wilhelm gave a low whistle. "Quite impressive." Trotting past the fragments of the door and waving a hoof in front of his face to shoo away the dust, he was only looking up at the ceiling, trying to find the source of sunlight he had seen. When he found it, a collapse in the top with dirt and grass hanging over the side, Wilhelm smiled slightly; he had admittedly thought he would be lost in here longer. Whistling a small tune, he spread his wings to take off, when he remembered that if the collapse was caused by a heavy object, the bottom could have been collapsed by said object as well. Looking down to check whether  this had happened, he was proved wrong, but there seemed to be a.. Wilhelm took a double take. A mare? Wilhelm paused for a moment to take in the fact that there was a random red-and-purple unicorn mare lying on the floor. Slowly and with great feeling, Wilhelm said "What... the... buck."

Caramel ears popped at the sound of a gun shot. "That's not a good sign." Caramel said with a worried tone. A second shot. "Spellblind, you stay here and watch over the ship and Rave. Tyra you come with me." Caramel jumped out of the water. Another shot. "It's coming from the jungle. Lets got, somepony might be in trouble."

Tyra perked up at the sound of the gunshot, and looked toward the island. Another shot.

 

She heard Caramel's instructions and nodded.

"Aye," She said, swimming after her to the island, "I am right behind you!"

 

The ponies reached the shore and began a gallop following the gunshots.

"I hope it is nopony of ours," she admitted, following the captain's lead.

Spellbind had been made scared and frantic by the sound of shots and wished to go there and help in whatever way she could, but she obediently followed the orders of Caramel and stayd on the ships to watch over Rave, making sure he was okay. While also hoping her friends were safe...

Caramel ran into the jungle. "I actually hope it is somepony of ours because if they are not, that means somepony else is on this island." Caramel said while still running. She stopped just in time, almost falling in to a deep pit. "Hello, is somepony in there?" Caramel shouted down.

Rave was still dealing with his dark thoughts when some gunfire snapped him out of it. He could not hear it very well since he was below deck, however, he managed to recognize it since he had heard those kind of sounds before. Rave tried to gallop, however, he stumbled as he was still tired and injured from the incident in the ancient ruins.

Scarlett wandered around her home making some last minute preparations for her long range teleportation test. As she went around she ticked things off in her mind "Magic stores, check. Enchanted magic source, check. Saddlebag with equipment... Check. Double Chocolate Chip cookies in case I get hungry, check! Ok, lets do this"

 

She puts everything in her saddlebag besides a small concave metallic object. Hovering it before her, she began preparing for teleportation. Focusing her mind on the object she felt it's magic, her magic, flowing through it. And in the blink of an eye, she was gone.

 

Scarlett reappeared in the air above a roof of some sort of stone building. Before she could process what had happened she had fallen through the roof into a room and been knocked unconscious.

Upon entry of the two ponies Scarlett groaned on the floor and fell back into the abyss of unconsciousness.

"Damn it." Tutting, Wilhelm picked up Scarlett and slung her over his back, vaguely annoyed that the mare wouldn't have the decency to not force them to carry her. "Now what are we going to do? I say we bring her to Caramel and let her figure out what to do with our mysterous mare, but we'll need the both of us to carry her." Wilhelm winced as the load on his back shifted. "Yeah, she's heavier than I thought."
