My First Ever Vector

Okay, so I had just completed my first ever Vector using a base ON A PC, and I really need your criticism because I can't get better if nobody pushes me to get better (or at least gives me some sort of reason to continue to draw.) The pony I drew was an OC (I still need to develop her, she's in her first stages) named Melodic Tune. 

 

After a bit of messing around and practising on Ponyscape I started to vector using a base. I used this base to create my vector and the OC. http://bases-4-bronies.deviantart.com/art/MLP-Base-Happy-Dance-336908684

 

After kind of messing up the hair, this was my final product. I don't know how to link photos, so I just used imgur. Please let me know what you think because it took me a long time to finish

I like it I think you did a fine job on the O.C. remember never give up on your art always work to be better, and create I love art I was very good when I was a kid, and stopped. I haven't drawn since I feel as though I have forgot how, but you never, ever stop. You can always just get better I hope to see more from you in the future so let me know.

For your first ever vector, you did pretty good    even better then my first vector. You have the outline of the base pretty much down. Now you need to work on the details like the nose, mane, tail, cutie mark, and shading. I think you could master vectoring with more practice so keep it up! If you ever need help or advice on your art just let me know or youtube is a great helper as well ^-^ I have been doing vectors for over a year now and just now getting able to draw my own ponies without bases    Brohoof to you

Be careful with shading effects (one of the hooves/the head is transparent)

I advise you to keep using bases for few more drawings to understand the mechanics, and then to start without them. Then, use bases for poses but don't create the vectors on them. You'll learn faster. Inkscape/Ponyscape can be tough to use though, so you might want to learn with bases first, of course.

 

Could you give a download link for the SVG ? I saw some things needing to be fixed, but I'm not exactly sure of how you drew the whole thing, so I don't know where it comes from).

But for a first drawing, it's great though !

 

I'm currently switching to GIMP to Ponyscape, so I just learnt a lot of things recently that may help you in case you don't know how to do something

Oh yeah, by the way, now, try to draw some eyes, you'll need to get used to it, it makes the ponies look beautiful
