Blizzard has finished reading his M-rated book, "That's done, time to go." Blizzard then teleports downstairs and calls out to his friends, "Yo anypony down here?! Where are you guys? What's going on?!" Blizzard was worried, because he had no idea where his friends were and he had seen ponies evacuating outside his window, so he wanted some answers.

Caliber heard ice come downstairs, and he went back into the tavern. "Yo, ice! We're in the town square! Come on, what were you doing in there?" Caliber didn't understand why ice would suddenly disappear upstairs. That was strange even for him. "Come on, man! We've gotta help these refugees!"

Tyra followed the party into the tavern, waiting for her teammates to get ready as she had everything she owned on her person. She noticed Blizzard come downstairs...looking rather flushed.

And not exactly from exhaustion.

 

"Aye, we have been summoned to assist some unfortunate ponies in the area," she declared, pointing a hoof to the door, "grab your belongings and come, this is an important job!"

Icarus walked through the town streets. He had been wandering for quite some time now. A town should have been a very welcoming site ! But instead it only filled him with an uneasy feeling. Confusion and chaos were the first things he saw when he entered.

 

"More refugees...." He uttered under his breath, his mask concealing his voice even more. 

 

He had been helping many of them on the way here. But this had sadly depleted a large amount of his medical supplies. He would need to resupply. But for now, he looked for a place to eat and drink. this town had to have a tavern somewhere. 

 

 

 

 

Eventually, he found one, and as he thought, a group of ponies seemed to be gathered near it.

 

"Does anypony need medical assistance ?" He gave a shout. As much as he needed a drink and food, the health of these refugees would have to come first. Those harmed would be helped !

Shadow of a pony appeared on dore "Of course we need a medic but probably not now....maybi later but one in a group can  never hurt anyone." Tybalt slammed his hoof on this new pony's back "I'm Tybalt and the other are not important right now.If you whant to help ponys in this time of need join us!" Than Tybalt looked at other "Ok,we dont have much about there atackers but we got this.Some look alike of diamond dogs attacked em ,for now its normal right? You whant to hear insane part? They sad D-dogs used fire magic." Tybalt started to laugh "Fire magic guys,hahaha.D-dogs used magic.haha...." Tybalt tru laugh started "Ok...ok.Lets go we dont have much time."He opened dore and started walking "O yes i forgot what is your name Mister Medic?"

"I see.... you may call me Icarus. " The pony said, giving a slight bow while scanning this "Tybalt" over with his grey eyes. Though hidden thought his mask, a face of suspicion came across Icarus. He would not turn down the offer to help ponies, but he would remain on his guard none the less.  "I shall follow and assist" Icarus said, looking around for his supposed group.

 

He felt something was a bit off. In his experience, he had never seen a Diamond Dog use magic. But perhaps this was an exception of some kind. Or perhaps a ruse of some for. He would find out shortly he felt.

Blizzard was a little dizzy and had to slap himself in the face, "Uh, sorry eveypony, I was stuck in the mode you get when going through a good book. You know how that feels right? hehe..." Blizzard then heard something about Diamond dogs and fire magic, "pffft HAHAHA!!! Is that a joke? hehe this a joke right?!" He then ROFLs and gets up being serious, "Anything firey, I can handle with some coolidge! No heat will get past me! Let's go guys! Let's go cool these dudes off!" He then sees the new guy, "Hi I'm Blizz gotta get goin' bye!" He stepped outside, "Let's go! Let's go!"

Radiant glared at Tybalt 'he says we're are not important, then why did his order call us for help' he thought to himself. He returned to his serious expression walking up to Icarus. "I'm Radiant Sentinel, no point in hiding it anymore since I blurted it out earlier. But I'm a captain of the royal guard and personal guard for Celestia herself." He stated raising his hoof to his chest and lowering back to the ground.

Tyra let out an indignant snort at Tybalt's comment. "Us, not important?" She growled, "Well we shall certainly prove otherwise."

 

Nonetheless, she had a new companion, so she trotted over and looked up to him with a grin.

"Greetings, new companion," she greeted, putting a hoof over her puffed-out chest, "I am Tyra Shatterhoof, of the Shatterhoof Clan of the Frozen North!"

"Good to meet you all" Icarus said, giving a respectful bow. IT was quite a diverse group of people they had here. A royal guard, and an important one too. A clan member of the frozen north.They had something in common there, Stalliongrad was nice during the summer, but it's winters were some of the worst in equestria. Through his mask, Icarus looked at the other party members. they all seemed capable of great feats.

 

" So, were shall we go ?" He inquired to the ponies around him, hefting his medical bag and  storing it under his cloak.

Blizzard was getting anxious and started tapping his hoof, "Ahem, hello ponies, we ain't got all day, let's get movin'! Get up and move! Come on Come on! Let's go Let's go! We got ponies to save let's roll!" Blizzard hated it when nopony else was moving, that's why he usually moved ahead on his own.

As radiant was standing near Icarus Tybalt seemed to disappear into the shadows once again "What, where does he keep retreating to?" He questioned looking around them all. "I'm going to check the north gate to see if he's up there." 

 

Radiant left the tavern heading out into the snow storm again heading to the northern side of the town still able to see a decent distance through the falling snow.

Caliber agreed with ice blizzard. "Yeah, as a wise mare once told me, time is candy! Let's go" he went for the door, presumably followed by ice blizzard. 'Now, who's this new guy?'he thought, concerning Icarus, 'Yellowish, greenish, aura means a friend who lives to help others. So why do I feel uneasy? Meh, maybe its just his mask.'

Blizzard was glad they were finally on the move, "Now this is more like it ponies! Let's go! To the North Gate! ON THE MOVE! COOL PONY COMIN' THROUGH!" Blizzard was so ready to get moving that he dashed out to the North gate and hoped the other would follow...eventually. And he thought to himself, "I'm sure glad that my book is safe, I can't let anypony read it but me. What's in that book is very important to me and very beautiful and it's locked up tight safe and sound back in my tavern room."

Tyra followed the stallions out of the tavern, passing Icarus. The heavy snow meant nothing to her, but her sight was just as good as the others' in a snowstorm. Though she was able to keep up effortlessly, and met with the party at the north gate.

 

"I wonder where we will go," she asked nopony in particular, grinning excitedly and hopping in place, crunching the snow beneath her, "Maybe we can fight those diamond dogs!"

Icarus watched as Radiant left the group. Turning, he gave the others a slight bow and trotted over to Radiant. "Mind if I join you ?"  Icarus asked as he walked into the snowstorm with him. It was cold, but luckily his Stalliongrad made cloak kept him in a good temperature range.  His mask, on the othe hand, only helped so much. But he could deal with the cold...for now.

Radiant glanced back at Icarus "sure, the rest will probably follow as well." He said looking forward through the snow.

 

Soon the others joined them and they all reached the north with Tybalt no where to be found. "Perhaps we should question the injured more, get an idea of where these attacks have happened so we can learn a pattern? Or we could just head north hoping that Tybalt knew of something up ahead." he stated to the group.

Blizzard was far ahead and almost at the north gate, "Come on! You call this a storm?! Ha! I've been in far worse!" Blizzard then was knocked down by Spiky and yellow elementals, "Unh! Hostile contact! Take them down! Hiya! Take this and that! A little help here! Where are you guys?!" Blizzard managed to hold his own, but his arm bled a little, "pfft nothin' can stop me!" Blizzard then saw his teammates, "Where have you been?!"

Caliber drew his sword, and dashed over, spinning and hacking his way through the elementals. Realizing that it was taking too slow, and ice was bleeding, he willed his sword to catch fire. The sword burst alive with blue flames, and he cut them all down in record time. "You okay ice?" He asked

Radiant saw Blizzard catch up to them, Blizzard made them aware that he encountered another elemental in town again. Radiant noticed Blizzard's bleeding leg "Perhaps on top of whatever we do a few should remain in town if elementals are still appearing. We can't leave innocents unprotected." he insisted looking over the group.

"Then we split up!" Tyra piped up, her wide grin up at Radiant signifying that was positive she had a good idea, "Some of us shall travel further north, others will question the injured on the attackers, and the rest shall battle any elementals that appear!"

 

She puffed out her chest with a smirk, proud of her little moment of genius. "A grand idea, is it not?"

"radiant nodded at her, I'd suggest blizzard should be one of the few to stay behind. It'd be best not to push an injured pony out here. Perhaps our new partner should accompany him so he can tend to his wound." Radiant suggested as he looked over the group. 

[Commander Tangent 861]

" I should question the injured, and give them medical aid. I am far more useful there than I  would be in combating elementals." Icarus said, looking at all the others.  He could use his medical skills to help these people feel better, and he had always been good with deciphering information, so perhaps he could pull some more information out.

 

He then noticed Blizzard's leg.

"Nevermind were we have been, you are injured." Icarus said, " When you are done with combat, make sure you talk with me so I can heal it up properly" Icarus insisted.

Blizzard was reluctant but eventually agreed, "Fine, I'll stay with-- who are you?!" Blizzard was creeped out by the new guy, but calmed down, "Woah wait you said you can heal? Please, my leg was bleeding a bit ago, can you fix me up?" 

"Don't worry guys! I'll keep the town protected, why with a few ice clones, the enemy will be no problem!"

" Do not exert yourself more than you need to. And yes I can heal you, I am a medical specialist" Icarus said. The other pony seemed to be uneasy about Icarus. It was probably the mask. the lack of a face, something to measure a person by, always seemed to have a strong reaction with many ponies. But Icarus had always found masks calming.... not to mention it's magical seal protected him from disease and other harmful contaminates encountered in his work. 

 

Icarus pulled out his bag. "Let me take a look at your leg".
