Icarus joined them. Everyone was gathered and moving out, so he assumed that they would be ready to head out to their objective. He heard the groups banter, and couldn't help but smile. " I am ready to go ! Let's go get this little rat" Icarus said, hefting his bag and following along. As he did, he hoped the the Plague Doctors in Stalliongrad were delivering the letters, if they had them they must have been

Blizzard and his team began to move out after they had picked up Icarus. They were all going to the place Tybalt had marked on the map. As they were leaving the camp, Blizzard said, "Ooh I can't wait to get to that place on the map so we can pound some bad guy face in! How are the rest of you feeling?"

Ticktock looked at blizzard "Well I could be better I mean we have to remember that the mare in there somewhere as well as an entire army of airship pirates and there horrible rude captain. But with my new sword I think I could take anything that mare could throw at me"

Blizzard replied with full confidence, "Yeah! We can take on anypony or anything that stands in our way! Am I right guys?!" Blizzard was hoping that his enthusiasm would brighten the team's spirits in hopes of beating their enemies in the best way possible.....Stone Cold!

"I am more than ready to fight!" Tyra agreed, hopping on her hooves to psyche herself up for the upcoming battle, "these monsters will not see the next sunrise as long as we are here!"

 

She glanced around a few times, blinking. Another question crossed her mind.

"Um, where exactly do we go...?"

Radiant continued forward when he heard Tyra ask as to where their destination was. He glanced back at Tyra "we are heading to the location Tybalt indicated on the map he showed us, supposedly it's where the Aetherblades are." He said returning his gaze forward as he continued to lead the group to their location.

"I am assuming this will be a skyport of some kind, and heavily guarded considering who hired the Aether blades......do we have any kind of plan to get into the place ? Or any idea what it is ? " Icarus asked from the back of the group. He was still unsure on the location and details Tybalt had given. It was unlikely they would be able to just waltz in unannounced.

Blizzard spoke up, "Well if we wanna get in we need a fortified plan and lots of hard thought. We don't wanna take on more than we can handle. Like how we got into the city! We used planning and teamwork, which worked right? If we can do that, the we can do anything!"

Radiant continued walking, "agreed, but we need to have a view of what we are trying to get into before we can devise a plan. A plan made in the dark is of no use when revealed in the light," he said glancing back at Blizzard. "Once we have a view on what we're facing we will do some reconnaissance, for now just focus on getting there and keeping an eye out for any patrols."

"But where is what we are facing?" Tyra asked, frowning as she looked around at all the scenery they passed, "I have not smelt a single one of those creatures of traitors! And admittedly, Tybalt was rather...unclear with his details."

 

She continued to look around, trying to keep her eyes and ears open for an ambush or something similar.

Radiant sighed, "did you not look at the map Tybalt pulled out? Supposedly they are toward that mountain in the distance, possibly on the other since we can't see anything yet." He said keeping his direction true.

 

"I'll tell you what Tyra, you leave leading and direction to me. You just focus on cutting up our enemies." he jeered looking back at her.

Blizzard jumped back and said, "Speaking of enemies...what are those?!" Blizzard pointed a hoof to some earth elementals. "Uh...they don't look friendly Raid, are we gonna have to fight them?" He said as he charged himself up.

"why dont we just kill everypony in there, again?" caliber asked with a board voice. "im sure we could do it..." caliber noticed the earth elemental. frowning, he walked closer.it attacked. his sword was out in a second, and he had slashed it across the body of the earth elemental. he realized he was poorly trained to fight this kind of thing. the slash left almost no mark! gritting his teeth, he attacked again, but this time using a more power-based style. "this isnt gonna be easy..." he said

Radiant remained unmoved by the appearance of the elementals. "Just make it quick conserve energy, we're going to need our energy for our mission." he said taking a single sword out with his magic.

 

Radiant manifested the golden blade and launched the sword forward quickly cutting down three elementals.

"Aye," Tyra nodded, glancing aside, "That is what I am good at, after all."

 

She perked up and lowered herself down as the earth elementals appeared, going for her axe when she spotted Caliber's attack doing little damage. If she had her proper axe, this fight would be no problem.

 

"Perhaps I was wise in my training earlier," she smirked, and began a spring toward one of the creatures, socking it square in the face and sending it careening. She followed up with a buck to to more of them.

Blizzard stepped forward, "Ice Blast! *unaffected* Huh? Ice Blast! *unaffected* Oh no! It seems like they're pretty much impervious to ice! *uncharges powers* Looks like I'm gonna have to do this the old fashioned way! *slams hooves together* Shattering drop kick! *kicks one* Backflip kick! *hits another* *multi hit combo attack* Wow this is tougher without my powers.  "

Icarus watched as one of them slithered near him. At point blank, he fired  his crossbow into the vision area of one of the elementals. the sheer impact periced the elemental and threw it back a few hooves, it glared up at Icarus, injured, but angry. Icarus then followed up the attack, by lighting the still exposed bolt on fire, and watched as the elemental crumbled as it burned from the inside. 

 

" Is there never such a thing as peaceful travel here ? !" ICarus exclaimed

Blizzard replied to Icarus as he punched another elemental, "*hiya!* Nope doc, it ain't. Just how I like it! Teleportation punch!" Blizzard teleports behind an earth elemental and socks it dead in the back, "Clone counter!" His clone was shot out and countered another elemental's attack, sending ice shards everywhere that still did minute damage.

"Where would the fun be in a quiet walk?!" Tyra laughed, knocking a pair of elementals' skulls together before bucking them into the distance.

 

A group of them assembled themselves into a messy line behind her, so naturally she took the opportunity to sprint into them, knocking away each one on her way as she charged and bashed through them.

 

She had no idea how much she'd missed battling hordes of foes like this. She felt the most herself she'd felt in the last few days.

Ticktock had two ways he could handle the elementals his sword or magic. After some consideration and analysis of the way Caliber needed to hit hard to do damage Ticktock ran at two elementals, grabbed hold of them and teleported somewhere at which point he teleported back to the desert.

caliber was slashing hard, and he was doing damage, but it took longer than usual. "ya know who i wish were here? violet" he said simply, "she would've been done by now" he continued taking them out, having developed a kind of system. "also, ticktock! id prefer you use your sword. experience is the best way to learn."

Icarus Fired his bolt at another enemy, following his basic one two punch. Another one fell to peices as it burst into magical flame. He was not helping to much at thinning out the hoard, but he was defending himself. He watched the others carefully, to make sure no one got seriously hurt or damaged.

Ticktock looked at Caliber and said "Yes I agree. As such this experience has tort me that swords are useless against there things. But hey your kind of my teacher so you know whats best I suppose." Ticktock drew is sword and then saw I button on it. When he pressed it the blade unfolded. "So that's how it does that" Thought Ticktock as he lashed out on the one elemental in front of him. Suddenly two elementals fell to the ground and smashed Ticktock smirked "And that's how you take out earth elementals"

caliber grinned. "ill give ya an explanation after the battle. for now, just fight." he stopped holding back, and fully started attacking. his slashes became a blur, and the earth elemental couldn't even fight back. it was down in seconds, and caliber moved on to the next one, rapidly attacking from all sides.

Blizzard had the last 3 elementals lined up in front of him, "Multi-hit punch!" He punched one so hard, that it bashed into the other two, killing them. "Whew that's the last of them....for now. But I don't think it's gonna be any easier." "RAaarrrr!" *wings flapping overhead* Blizzard looked up, but couldn't see anything, "What the heck was that?!  Let's keep moving guys. *gulp*"
