Am I going to die? Red wondered. Am I seriously going to burn to death? She furiously kicked at a door. No, she didn't want to die here. She tackled the door and shoved with all her might. Open! She prayed. She was sweating badly, and her hooves were burning. She glanced around her. She hadn't even gotten to know her new allies...

As she watched Blizzard use his ice powers, Tyra perked up with a revelation.

"Blizzard, I have an idea," She called to the earth pony, "I have seen a mage do this before!"

 

She pointed to the door. "Use your ice to freeze the door! It will weaken it for us to punch through!"

Flames in room lowered and room was slowy starting to get back to previus salf."Nice job on staying cool.You should take moment to take your breath back,and decaid where would you like to move next,North or east....there are no wrong answers here....buf if you chose wrong our generator may not have inaf of power to keep all this lighted up." Scarlet said as flames almost desapired.

Blizzard listened to Tyra's plan and saw Red burning, "Sh8t! Red! Come on, don't get too hot now." Blizzard wrapped an ice pack around her hooves, and put an ice pack to her forehead, "There ya go. Now Tyra, that sounds good, let's do it!" Blizzard froze the doors entirely, "Alright axe girl, choose which door. I froze both."

Red looked at the others, panting. "Thanks, Blizzard."

They'd got out. But it seemed to her that, if the alicorn had wanted to, she could have burnt them to a crisp using Luna's magic. How horrible...

She shook herself out of her daze. She needed to focus now.

"Where are we headed?" she asked the others. She did not want to make the pressuring decision. She wasn't a leader, anyway. She was a follower.

"I say that we split up," Tyra nodded, standing to one side of the room after breaking down one of the doors, "One team shall go one way, and another goes the other way!"

 

She waited with Red on their side, while the others decided on how to split up. Hopefully they had enough numbers for even teams.

Ticktock gave a sigh of relief as he eased his spell of a bit but kept it in place just in case " You know guys while I would love to stay in this room for the rest of my life keeping a magic cuboid conjured I have other stuff to do" A voice inside Ticktock's head shouts "Yeah me too!" Ticktock quickly shuts his eyes walks over to Dark and punches him in the face "Shut up dark. That felt really good you know!"

Blizzard thought for a moment, "Hmm, on one hoof, I'd say that splitting up is bad for our teamwork. *makes sculpture of them splitting in right hoof* But on the other, I think we'll cover more ground and get to Luna quicker. *makes sculpture of them finding Luna in left hoof*. If we were to team off, I'd say me, Cal, and Tick go one way, while axe girl, Red, and the doc go down the other. Whaddya say guys?"

caliber looked over the team. "well, splitting up would be good...but if i know that witch, she probably has this place riddled with more than just fire traps..."

 

"okay, we should split into teams, after all." he sat down. "but, who will go with who?" he asked.

 

he looked at the others.

Tyra walked to the centre of the room and put a hoof to her chin.

"I propose that we split into teams that are balanced," she suggested, then pointed to herself, "myself, Ticktock and Icarus should go one direction, and the rest of you go to another. We shall cover more ground that way, yes?"

 

She then blinked, having no idea where her sudden burst of logic came from.

Blizzard thought over the plan, "Not bad, not bad. Hopefully when we need more random bits of wisdom, you'll come through. Anyway I think it's good. Is everypony ready? Remember, just keep going until we find Luna. Hopefully when one of our teams make it, the other team will catch up. I'll take lead of my team, and I say we go through the forward door. Axe girl you take lead of your team through the door on the right. Ok? Let's do it!"

Ticktock was in a large amount of pain from using so much magic but he nodded "Yep sounds good to me. Although guys we better hope we find Luna quick, Scarlett said Luna was a generator and every generator runs out of power eventually so we need to move as fast as possible."

Red was a little intimidated going without the other amiable earth pony. She didn't really know Caliber or Blizzard.

"Good luck," she said to the other group, glancing concernedly at Ticktock but saying nothing. She moved to Blizzard, staring at him. "So, we're going through the... forward door?" She questioned, rather amused by the title of the door.

Tyra nodded, and turned to Red, sensing her displeasure in the situation.

"Do not worry, they are formidable fighters," she confirmed, then leaned in to whisper, "though, are quite...proud, so prepare to hear a lot of bragging about themselves...and each other."

 

She raised an eyebrow at the two stallions in question, before grinning to Red again.

"Perhaps next time we may work together, yes?" She held up a hoof to her, "We will show those two boys what a couple of...'bad, ass' girls can do!"

Blizzard put a hoof to the Northern door, "Hmm...yep. I guess if that's what we could call it....Forward door. Anyway don't worry Red, we got your back, and next time we gotta split up, I'll make sure you get to go with Tyra. But for now, let's get to the next room ok? Good luck guys through your door."

Red stared at the hoof and slowly put her own hoof to Tyra's. She quickly drew back her hoof, looking very uncertain. "Ah... right." She said. "Yes. I mean, sure." She thought about what Tyra had said as she began turning away, then quickly turned around, rather worried. "They brag to each other? Is there... a... ah... reason?" Hopefully Tyra got what she was really asking. Perhaps she was being sensitive, perhaps Blizzard and Caliber were just very close friends. Though, there was nothing wrong with homosexuality-- her aunt was homosexual-- but she didn't want to be walking around with two ponies in love when she didn't know about it. "I mean, I don't want to be a third wheel or anything," Red mused, concerned.

"They bra about each other, and they are simply...very close," Tyra explained, rolling a hoof as she tried to find the best explanation, "though, I think they are simply friends, there are no romantics involved."

 

She smirked as she looked over to the two ponies. "Yet." She added teasingly.

 

There was no problem with same-gender partners to her though; homosexual and bisexual partners were common back home and not frowned upon.

 

In fact, she was bisexual herself, but she felt no need to bring that up.

caliber looked at her. then at ice blizzard. then back at her. then back to ice blizzard. then, he picked up a stick, and handed it to tyra. "please hit me in the head, as hard as you can." he said sarcastically. "seriously? no, im straight." he closed his eyes for a couple seconds."c'mon...lets go..."

Blizzard angrily stomped forward and took out his ice saddlebag containing his Rarity magazine collection, and dumped all his magazines on the floor, "Take a look. Take a good LONG look at this. I am deeply in love with the mare on these magazines. So please don't say that again. " He then picks up his magazines and puts them back.

Red began laughing at Caliber's reaction then quickly stopped herself. No, she needed to focus. She coughed slightly. "Thank you," she said to Tyra and moved to the northern door. She considered asking Blizzard more about the alicorn, but they'd probably told her all they knew. She looked at the door.

There was no way they could take too many more rooms like this one... another minute and the lot of them would have been scorched to death. Their lives were in the hooves of Scarlet... she could kill them on a whim. Or so it seemed. Perhaps the alicorn had designed it like that.

She glanced back at Blizzard and the pile of magazines. She stared at the magazines. She turned away, back to the door.

She wished even more now that she'd gone with Tyra...

caliber looked at her. then at ice blizzard. then back at her. then back to ice blizzard. then, he picked up a stick, and handed it to tyra. "please hit me in the head, as hard as you can." he said sarcastically. "seriously? no, im straight." he closed his eyes for a couple seconds."c'mon...lets go..."

 

Tyra looked down at the stick, then to Caliber, then to Red, then down to the stick again. And once to Blizzard and his creepy magazines, for good measure.

Without missing a beat, she shrugged and clocked Caliber upside the head with the stick.

 

"I hope you are pleased!" She chirped, dropping the stick and trotting toward Ticktock and Icarus, "We shall see you all later!"

Blizzard facehooved, "Dear Celestia, and everypony here thought I was weird. Ahead, let's get moving. Remember Red, stay focused, stay alive ok? Caliber, when you're ready, breach that door down so we can move up." Blizzard took a breaching position on the wall beside the door.

Ticktock had just stood the threw the whole Blizzard and Caliber are more than just friends situation and was covering his mouth to stop him bursting out in laughter to the point where tears formed in his eyes. After it all finished Ticktock shock the humour off and went to the door and started running at it and putting his full weight into the impact.

Icarus folowed Ticktock and Tyra-his team in east room.

 

Team A-Ticktock,Tyra,Icarus

 

As they entered room huge dore appered behaind them.Blocking there way back to rest of her team,but unlike lest time there wherent doors on north or south or east wall."Look at all you,think if you split up you will fester find your Princes!Ha,lets prove you wrong!" And as Scarlet said this room started to fill up with fog,and soon our heroes couldnt see hoove in front of there eyes.

Tyra quickly looked back as the door shut behind them.

"There is no turning back now," she commented.

 

"It is us who will prove you wrong, witch!" She yelled at the voice, having no clue where the voice was coming from.

 

The room quickly was filling with a thick fog; so thick that she could barely make out the silhouettes of her teammates.

"We must make for the doors!" She yelled, beginning a charge straight for the northern wall.
