caliber stopped for a moment. wow, had he really been at it that long? it was time for breakfast!

 

one of the few things he actually enjoyed!

 

he raced there, and crashed into ice, red, tyra, and (im assuming) icarus.

 

"hey, yo, whats up, gotta run!" he sprouted, before heading off to the cafeteria.

Blizzard was happy to have crashed into Caliber, "Hey Calibro! Glad you could run into us. Haha. Breakfast you say? We're all heading there too. Race ya brother!" he said as he ran after Caliber, and nearly slipped on the slippery hospital floors, "Don't eat everything bro! Save some for the rest of us!"

And as most of our heroes walked in hospitle cafeteria they could see breakfest is already on,and most of tables where full.There was one free table in back of the room on what all of our heroes could sit at the same time.On the east side of room was food,there was not much from what they could pick,onli this thet was there was fish and apple pie

Blizzard took note of the cafeteria settings, "Wow. A lot of ponies here." He looked to the back and saw an empty table, "Aha! There's a table guys. I'll go grab it for us after I get my food." he then got in the line and saw the food choices, "Hm. Convenient. Some of our team's favorite foods." after he got his fish and pie, he sat at the empty table where his team could see him waving.

Red followed Blizzard closely through the crowd of ponies. At one point, she lost him, but saw him waving, and managed to get to him.

 

"Yes," she agreed to his earlier statement, "there are a lot of ponies." she sat down to the pie and stared at it slightly distastefully. She took a slice of the pure-apple half and began eating slowly. Celestia, I'm starving! She hadn't realized how hungry she was, but ate slowly so as not to cramp her stomach up from eating too fast.

After a couple of minutes of getting re-acquainted with his muscles Ticktock went into the cafeteria quickly got his food and went to the table and as he got there he began to talk with guilt in his voice "Hey guy I suppose I owe you some kind of explanation about that whole Dark magic thing don't I?" Ticktock didn't sit down but just stood at the front end of the table hovering his plate above the ground with his magic.

Blizzard was very hungry since it was a while since he had last eaten. He had to keep himself from choking by eating slow. After he swallowed some of his fish, he replied to Red, "Yeah but the food is amazing!" he then saw Ticktock, "Time Lord. Welcome! And lemme guess, that was your retarded dark half brother or something? Hehe..."

Tyra grinned and hopped onto the chair at the table, taking a seat next to Red. It was really comforting to see everypony altogether again, alive and well.

 

As she ate, she perked up at Ticktock's question about Dark. She remembered he mentioned it a while ago but he never really explained.

"Aye, I am curious as to who...or what this 'Dark' is."

Ticktock took in a deep breath and began to speak "First of Blizzard you are actually pretty close to the truth. As far as I can tell he is a dark spirit who was trapped in a crystal for over a thousand years I can only presume that Celestia had something to do with his entrapment because he seems to hate her more that Scarlett hates her..." Ticktock paused and waited for some of the team to respond and process what he was saying.

Blizzard's eyes widened when he heard Ticktock speak, "Woah what?! Amazing and creepy all at once. But in my grandfather's book, there's information about the elemental crystals! The ice elemental crystal was how I got my powers! I think what that was, was a dark elemental crystal! Ho-lee-buck.! That's 2 of the many famed elemental crystals found! I wonder where the rest are, there's water crystal, fire, earth, light, gravity..." he said as he began to eat again.

Ticktock shook his head at Blizzard "Well unless the things inside the crystals weren't always inside the crystals then I am afraid you are mistaken. Anyway it all happened when I was 15 and I was studying and Celestia's school for gifted unicorns ahh I had a great time there learning about all kinds of magic and being excellent at every form I tried I was the schools highest achiever well the second highest I was only about 1-3 marks away from Twilight Sparkles. I mean life at that time was great for me I had my own house, plenty of money and a lovely marefriend..." Ticktock once again stopped for the others to register what he had said except this time he had tears welling up in his eyes.

"I have heard many stories about crystals on my travels," Tyra contributed, nodding sagely, "mostly, that there is a Crystal Empire where everything is made of crystal! Even the ponies themselves!"

 

She added, "I have also read that dark magic can be housed in such crystals, like when an evil king took over the empire and used the ponies as slaves to mine the crystals!"

As our heroes talked one well knowen pony dresed in red got to our heroes table.When our heroes raised there heads to see who it is,they could see it was Eir."Look who is awake." Eir started joking with our heroes,but got litle serious with next part "Celestia asked my to bring you to her after you awake,you must have a lot of question about Scarlet and she may answer some of them." Eir stoped for a moment,looked at our heroes eaiting "Would you like Princess to waith or would you come with my now?"

Ticktock shook himself out of his memories as Eir said that they were wanted by Celestia "Well guys I will have to finish telling you the story of me and Dark when we are done talking to the princess." Ticktock then looked at Eir "I am ready to go ma'am when ever you are ready."

Blizzard had finished his food when Eir walked up, "Aye aye! I'm ready to go whenever you're ready. I'm sure we all have something to ask the princess about. Hopefully Luna's doing better as well and I hope we get our answers. I mean we ARE heroes right? Heroes deserve answers."

Tyra looked as Eire approached, and nodded with a grin as she kept eating and drinking.

"Aye, we shall be along," she wanted to say, but it came out muffled with all the food in her mouth, "Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, of course!"

 

Some bits of food spat in any direction possible.

Our heroes stened up and folowed Eir.They left the hospitle and moved tru darker corners of Canterlot,they where heading to the castel relly fest,and by look of it Eir was almost runing.As. they moved they could see Scarlet atack from two days ago was almost un seen,and lofe was back to normal more or less.Onli thing thet was missing where wachknights,probably Scarlet moved em out of city for something.

 

They rushed in Castel,and not a single guard looked at them or tryed to stop em,so they passed tru castel quick,they where heading up stears to Celestia room.They stoped in front of it and Eir turned around and said "I need to go,but Princess is in here." Eir smailed and quicker then before rushed out.

 

On the other side of the doore,in Celestia room.Celestia was packing,her room was sloppy,and her armor was in her beg,ready for use.Her light sword thet she cut Scarlet horn was on her back,but it didnt glow like yesterday when she was fighting Scarlet,but like her armor,her sword was ready for fight.Celestia warm smail was no where to be seen on her face.It was like Celestua was preparing for something big...

Blizzard knocked on the door and opened it a little, "Uh, princess Celestia permission to enter?" he said as he opened the door a little bit more. He was kind of unsure as to how entrance protocols functioned, so he was just 'winging it' as they say. "You wanted to speak to us?"

"Yes enter..." Princess started,without her royal voice or smail,it was clear something is happening,something big if princess was like this.Sge turned her head to ourr heroes at the doore and started "I know you have many questions about Cera,or how she calles her self Scarlet." Princess moved to other side of room and picked something,thet looked like coin box "And il try to share some light on them,just ask fest I dont have much time..."

Blizzard shook a moment before asking the princess, "Yes princess. That's the thing. Do you know why exactly she all...angsty and evil? And also, why did she change her name? This is really confusing." he said as he put his hooves to his head in frustration and confusion.

Tyra entered the room with the others, glancing around at how...messy the room was. Not what she was expecting from a ruler of a kingdom.

 

Nevertheless, she had a few questions of her own.

"You seem to be familiar with the witch," She stated, head tilted, "Was she a student of yours? Are you related?"

caliber kept his plate of food when he went with the others, eating it on the way. the moment he got into the princess's chamber, he walked up to her, took her sword, and examined it up and down.

 

"i need a sword made out of the same material this one it made of." he said bluntly, "is there a place here i can safely store my current sword?"

Princess Celestia started not looking at Blizzard "No,I dont.Lest time I seen her,she was normly fine." Princess Celestia looked at Tyra for a moment as she asked the question then looked at the window,it was like she is trying to remember some thing."Yes,she was my student long ago,over a 20 years ago..." Celestia tok a big breath and contineu " No we are not related." And as she was finishing the answer on Tyra question,Caliber pulled out Princess sword from her back,at same momen she moved litle back,because she not think some one would do thet.She looked at him with anger,tok her sword back and witl anger in her voice started "This is one of a kaind." She looked at rest of our heroes "Anny more questions?"

Blizzard slammed his hooves together in excitement, "Nah no more questions. At least not from me. I mean I really don't think it matters who Scarlett is as long as we get to smash her head to pieces!" From there he took a step back, and waited for everyone else to ask their questions.

Ticktock hit Blizzard a bit and looked at the princess "Well I have four questions your majesty firstly what does 'Cera' want with our stuff she has stolen my goggles, blizzards blood, before he left Radiant's magic, Tyra's axe (which we won back), and what ever she stole from Caliber? Secondly why is she so interested in us? Thirdly did she earn the right to be an Alicorn like" *Ticktock's voice turned bitter* "Twilight?" *Ticktock's voice returns to normal "And finally you seem troubled Princess what is wrong Scarlett or Cera is defeated Canterlot is almost back to normal so what is wrong?"
