Blizzard thought to himself, "Great now she has my magazine. Oh well. Luckily I bought 2 just in case something like this had happened." He takes out the map and his spare magazine. "Haha joke's on her 'cuz I got a spare! *takes out spare magazine copy and does victory dance* and thinks to himself while hugging the spare magazine, "I knew nothing would keep us apart my love.  " Then he speaks aloud, "Ok now what does that map say? Where are we right now?"

[Chip Circuit 1,842]

Radiant watched the mare disappear and looked back at the bomb. "I feel that she's lying about knowing my weakness, but know we have that bomb to worry about." Radiant thought to himself.

 

"Blizzard we need an Ice wall along the cage wall to keep the explosion from hitting us!" He commanded looking back at blizzard while he cast his armor.

Blizzard quickly reacted, "Yes sir! and I got a better idea ice dome!" He then deploys a giant igloo like ice dome with no opening around himself and himself and his teammates. In turn protecting them from the explosion. "Is everypony all right under here? It's a tight squeeze I know, but it'll protect us!"

Caliber watched her exit, and looked at the others. Including IB doing victory dance with a rarity magazine. 'And people think I'm weird,' he thought. IB set up the ice dome, and they were shielded from the blast. when the dust settled, he dashed over, and buckled his sword in it's rightful place. Hdoin immediately felt safer.

[Chip Circuit 1,842]

Radiant adjusted his flank trying to not be pressing against anypony. "It's fine good job, there's a good chance the sound of an explosion will attract attention so be ready for combat after we're out." He said keeping his armor up as he sat down.

 

"I hope you all don't think differently of me since I tried lying to that mare." he said feeling ashamed of himself.

As the explosion ceased, IB said, "I don't hear anything or anypony, we're all alone in here. Should we make preparations before we start traveling down this map? I see some weapon tuning areas over there. Anypony might wanna upgrade their weapons while we're here?"

[P-Jay 1,987]

"I'm good" caliber said, basking in the fact that he had his sword back. "Nothing to upgrade." he took it out, and began to polish it. Right there. With tortured screams everywhere. He seemed blissfully unaware of the screams. He was just really happy to have his sword back.

[Chip Circuit 1,842]

Radiant looked over where Blizzard was gesturing "We don't have time for distractions, we need help whoever is in trouble in here." He said walking forward with his eyes fixated ahead of him.

 

Radiant pulled out all four of his swords to be prepared for combat.

 

(OOC we'll assume Icarus is following, and I'll have him attack in combat every now and then.)

Tyra leapt behind the ice wall as the explosive went off, and the group were free of the cell. She leapt toward her gear, preparing herself and inspecting her axe for any damages.

 

"That mare will pay dearly for her trickery," she growled, returning the weapon to its harness. She may have been calmer, but her anger had not subsided.

 

She nodded to Radiant. "Aye, we must help anypony here in danger, no matter the risk."

Blizzard shyly replied, "Uh, how are we gonna help these poor ponies? They're halfway dying! Unless any of you know healing spells, and a way outta here, there's almost nothing we can do for these ponies except set the free. I mean is that all we can do because I'm not sure."

[Chip Circuit 1,842]

Radiant dropped his head slightly looking depressed as he let out a sigh "We have Icarus, but if his magic is not enough to save them... The least we can do is end their suffering quickly," Radiant said with a heavy heart "I will take on that burden if it comes to it. I will not leave these ponies to suffer in these depths just because they may be close to dying!" Radiant's attitude changed to determination as he brought his hoof to his chest.

[Unicorncob 5,694]

"Nay!" Tyra cried, her face stern and her mind set, "If these ponies have any chance of living, they will be giving that freedom!"

 

She glanced over her shoulder, to the axe on her back. "I made a vow that I would protect as many innocent ponies as I could wherever I went. Even when I agreed to take on this adventure, that vow still stands."

 

Her gaze returned to Radiant, her eyes unyielding. "And so, I will make sure everypony who can still walk will see their homes again!"

[P-Jay 1,987]

"Wouldn't bet on it." caliber said darkly. He had seen this kind of place before. It was in a place like this that he learned how to kill off his emotions in order to kill without remorse. But he decided not to dwell on That. "I can see you would want to avoid that at all costs, but someponys just can't be saved..."

[Chip Circuit 1,842]

Radiant looked back at Tyra who seemed determined they would be able to save every pony "I follow your beliefs Tyra, but sometimes there are ponies you cannot save. Mind you I'm not saying we won't try but if they are beyond help and Icarus' makes a call that they will be unable to make the trek. Then the kindest thing would be is to end their suffering so they don't have to experience anymore pain." Radiant said his composure wavering for a second, his eyes widening slightly as he begun remembering back to one of his ventures when he was younger.

 

"Just like that day, when my mentor showed me how cruel life can be. We try to bring justice where we go but sometimes we have to be the executioners that hold the rope of the guillotine" He thought to himself returning to himself looking forward.

 

"We should move on." he said

Blizzard replied excitedly, "Yeah, let's go. We can avenge the deaths of the innocent souls by kicking the living tar out of that evil mare! I for one don't like this situation she put us in, but I can guarantee that with our level of skill, we can get out no problem! Who's with me?!"

Tyra let out a deep sigh, and glanced aside with lowered ears. Radiant was correct; if the ponies they rescue could not make the walk, it would be the right thing to end their suffering.

 

"Very well," she accepted, then looked back up to Radiant with her stern face returning, "but make no mistake, if we can get them out of here, we will. Even if I have to carry them all on my back, they will see their homes and families once more!"

 

She took a glance over to Blizzard, and actually nodded. "For once, we are in agreement. That witch will pay for her trickery."

Radiant continued walking reaching the first corner. "Trust me I want nothing more than to see every pony walk away from this." He said walking around the corner peering ahead into the next room.

 

"I can see some more activity in the next room, let's proceed in combat formation. I'll take the lead, Tyra and caliber stay behind me a short distance. Blizzard you're in the back with Icarus for now." He commanded waiting before he progressed forward.

caliber nodded. then, he un-sheathed his sword, and took his place behind radiant. "i hope ya got a plan, friend." caliber said. "and im not used to fighting with a team. first time ever, really." caliber trusted his friends, but there was that feeling there was something else in this 'dungeon'

Tyra nodded and followed after Radiant, grabbing her axe in her teeth as she kept at Caliber's side.

 

"As the saying goes, there is a first time for everything," she muttered to Caliber, glancing to him, "besides, having companions at your side is never a bad thing."

 

In her mind, it was clear that Caliber's head was much more firmly attached to his shoulders than Blizzard's, so she had no qualms with being paired with him.

Blizzard had no problem, "Yes sir. So we have a formation, but what's the actual plan of attack? We're going to have to be ready for anything they throw at us Raid. I think if you order us to move to certain positions to get a jump on the bad guys, we'll have a better chance at survival. I'm ready sir, get us moving."

Radiant glanced back at Blizzard "just stay calm this isn't the first time leading a platoon. Right now we don't know what we will be expecting. Chances are every enemy already knows we're here, so for now I'll be far in up ahead to draw out any ambush. Tyra and Caliber will then jump in to help hold them in place, while you will be last one joining in to provide crowd control or quick assault they won't be ready for." Explained continuing forward.

Icarus approached the group. He had been silent a long time, caught in his own thoughts and his own dreams. But the events that had transpired were crazy, and had been all too similar to the Sieges of Stalliongrad.  "So, what shall I do Radiant ?" ICarus asked, speaking up for the first time in awhile.

Tyra nodded, understanding Radiant's instruction, and glanced to Caliber. "Very well, we will both be ready."

 

"Though, if I may ask," she added, looking back to the group leader, "why do we not just assault them head on? We are expecting a sneak attack, so why not surprise them with our readiness?"

Blizzard said to Tyra, "No offense axe girl, but rushing in isn't the best plan, as that'll get us killed by having no form of strategy whatsoever. You get what I'm saying? There's a reason why Radiant's the leader and not us ok? Once again no offense to you, I'm just sayin'."

[Chip Circuit 1,842]

Radiant glanced back at Tyra "I wish I was leading my fellow guards, they know when the time for questions has passed" he thought to himself.

 

"A head on assault in unfamiliar territory can lead to us easily getting surrounded. It'd be best to position the enemy in a way that is favorable to us, since we don't know how many opponents we're facing it'd be best to not waste the extra energy with dealing with being surrounded." He said looking back at Icarus. "Icarus position youself in the back with Blizzard, we need to keep you safe since we will need your medical ability if we're to.save these ponies down here."
