Rigel sighed. "that would seem to be the case. But hell if I know what's going on anymore than you do." he took a long drink. "it took a lot to stop myself from joining that argument, but I figure one more pony talking about how fucked up this world is. We've all had crazy shit happen to us, no need to argue over how we all choose to deal with it." he put his drink down. "and some of us didn't have a choice. Some of us will stay fucked up for the rest of out lives."

"My sanity." Agent smirked, before shaking his head. "No! Not the time for jokes. The locket has my uncle and aunt from back when I was a kid." He opened the locket. "My parents died pretty gruesomely and they came to take care for me. This picture was taken after I got well from the incident."

Sforzando wandered into the bar and looked around.

"Who do I gotta speak to to get a heavy liquor round here? The kind that makes one forget the past for a while."

"yeah, I guess your right" jack took a drink "you know, at one point I actually thought my life was going to get better, it was about 2 days before I arrived here, I was with a large group of ponies, me as their guide, looking for a place to escape everything and start anew, we were going to build ourselfs a new village" he took another drink "we found a nice clearing and started to unpack, the next day a figure swooped down and atracked, when I woke up, every one was dead, except me" he took another drink "I didn't know what else to do so I started walking in the direction I was facing" he took another drink "I was probably a fool to think we could of rebuilt society"

Silvermane was deep in thought. He never knew that his arival would bring all this back in his mind.

 

I just dont understand it. How can she still be mad? She's seen my gears, she's seen my scars and yet she still cant accept it. All is going down to shit thanks to me.

 

He layed his head down on the table and rested.

 

If only she understood what happened that day. She would know why things are diffrent now. It must be done.

 

He then picked his head up and proceded to Melody's room.

Rigel waved to sforzando, a grim smile on his face. "hey, come and join the Horrible Pasts club." he held his bag open. "I have plenty of drinks. Just don't take anything from the left side, those are my weaponized bottles."

Sforzando smiled.

"That's what I like to hear."

He closed his eyes and reached in blindly, grabbing a long thin green bottle from the far right.

"How about I take a swig, then you tell me the awful effects that this will have on me in three years?"

He started going at the cap, trying to pop it off.

Jack took a bottle and started drinking until it was half full, "sometimes I wish I didn't have an extremely high tolerance to alcohol" he jokingly remarked

"I know what you mean."

He popped the top of the bottle off with his teeth then spat it out.

"It takes more Apple Whiskey than I can usually find to get completely hammered."

He took a swig of the the strange green liquid. As he swallowed, his eyes grew wide.

"What in the hell is this?! It's... amazing... and very strong."

"ah, I see you've grabbed a mind masher. Just wait a minute or 2, it'll hit you." Righel clinked his bottle aginst sforzando's. "and since it's a special mix I invented myself, no real side effects. Not even a hangover."

"pour me some, that stuff sounds good"

"No hangover? This is my kind of drink!"

Sforzando took another big swig.

"Where does one learn the skills to brew such a wonder?"

Rigel shrugged. "I don't use traditional brewing methods. In fact, I hardly brew at all. I'm a chemist." he smiled. "I took my old science lessons and applied them to getting drunk. It started as a way to forget what had happened, but now I've come to terms with the fact that I'm messed up, and drink for fun."

"A chemist huh. Never met one of those..."

Sforzando took another swig. He already started to feel a change. He was inexplicably happy and couldn't keep himself from smiling. He chuckled as he started having trouble remembering why he had been unhappy before. His smile faltered for a moment as he worried if what he had just forgotten was important, but soon that worry was lost too as his mind become a confusing jumble of bliss.

"This... is amazing."

"as much as I'd love to stay and chat, I've got to find that macanic" jack said as he stood up, he then went in search of gizmo

(Gizmo is under my control now, and I'll be starting off using him in his room, as no one has said his location in ages.)

 

Sforzando didn't even notice Jack leaving, he was to transfixed by the new beverage he was consuming. Soon his mind was a jumble of thoughts and happiness. The world seemed to be in sharper focus, yet so far away.

Jack decided to check gizmos room, he knocked on the door, waiting a response

Gizmo looked up from his little terminal. It had been a while since someone had even needed his help or services

"Come in."

 

(be back in like 2-3 hours. Gotta go play instrument at a concert.)

"Hey, I need you to fix something for me" jack removed the device strapped to his arm, It looked like it had been through a lot

"a friend built it for me, he called it a launcher, what ever you can fit in to this tube is launched at high volicity, at one point he had it so I could attach a severed unicorn horn on it and shoot magical bolts like laser beams, but as you can see right now, it's in bad shape, and I dont know much about engineering, so could you see if you can get it working again?" jack said as he placed the device on the table

( the tube is a foot long, with a 1 inch diameter)

Gizmo looked at the contraption, and had already started to scan and mentally pull it apart.

"I can fix it."

He looked up at Jack.

"Though I wont be able to get that unicorn function working. And I wouldn't suggest walking around with a severed horn either, as not all the ponys here would appreciate a severed horn in their midst."

He kept mentally working out the problems in the device.

"If you happen upon a Spark Battery though, I could get that unicorn bit working. Don't expect to be finding such a piece just anywhere though. Not many Spark Batteries were made, and are a bit of a rarity."

"that's understandable" jack replied "and if I find any spark batteries I'll let you know, but I'll leave you to your work" jack left the room and began thinking to himself *spark batteries, where have I heard of those...ahh yes Rick had some on him, too bad I couldn't find his body*

 

Jack went to the living room and sat on the couch
