Did you feel sad for Princess Celestia at that moment?

I never felt sad for that, but now that you mention it, she is watching over Twi all the time, as shown in the season 3 finale, so I guess she isn't that alone.

Re thinking of that moment from episode 2, when Twilight was sad for leave her friends and Princess Celestia let her stay at Ponyville, i feel sad for Celestia, That mean she will be alone now.

How so, especially considering she still lives with her younger sister Luna? In any case, while Celestia loves Twilight dearly, Luna was the one closest to her heart in a platonic sense, so I don't see Celestia being alone unless I have misunderstood you.

No not really  I'm not sure Twilight and Celestia have spent less time together after Twilight moved to Ponyville (being a ruler of Equestria, Celestia's very busy most of the time).

I don't think they were really around each other all that much. Twilight only really cared about her studies and her books, so I'd be surprised if they spent a lot of time together, not including when Celestia gives her new assignments or papers.

Umm not really; the only emotions that rises within me right now whenever thinking of Celestia in general are perplexity, irritation and disbelief.

Yes and no. On the one hand, it was probably sad to lose close contact with Twilight, but the happiness of seeing her make such good friends probably outweighed it by a lot. Especially since Celestia is still one of the most important ponies in Twilight's life, and they can write letters any time they want.

It's also somewhat of a blessing that Celestia and Luna have a chance to reconnect without Twilight around, because Celestia is probably so happy with Twilight for rescuing Luna that she'd inadvertently make Luna jealous again by giving Twilight too much attention.

Not really but because I can think Celestia knows that Twilight is growing up. Think of what She says to Twilight when in the ethereal plane.

So yes, She might feel a little sad now that Twilight won't always be around, but remember, She's also now got back Her sister. With Luna by Her side again, Celestia won't be alone.

I think since Celestia is her teacher, and not her mother or friend, I think she's probably ok with Twilight moving on to bigger and better things. She wants Twilight to fulfill her potential, even if she did feel bad to see her go. Celestia is old and wise enough to know that ponies can't stay around just to make her not feel lonely, and she still has her sister. She's pretty much a god, and I don't think as a god she'd be so selfish as to want to keep Twilight with her all the time. Course now that Twilight is a alicorn, Celestia wont have to worry about Twilight dying and leaving her alone with just her sister, Luna, as company. But that makes me sad for Twilight because all her pony friends will die, leaving her alone with just Spike, who I think she considers more as little brother, or her kid, than the type of friends the mane 6 are to her.

Ummm...that kind of is the nature of the student/teacher relationship. Teachers are only teachers of a particular student for a time. Students move on, but new students arrive to take their place and start the cycle over again. Twilight is not the only student ever to attend Princess Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorns. Just because she happened to be the student Celestia took under her wing to study more closely under her doesn't mean Celestia doesn't have other students to attend to. Celestia has lived for thousands of years, so if there's anything to feel sorry for her about it's that her friends, colleagues and students all die while she lives on. Compared to that students moving on is small potatoes, which is something I'm sure anyone in the teaching profession gets used to before too long.
