My Favourite Mane 6 Pony: Fluttershy

How did you find MLP Forums?: It was the first site that popped up when I googled MLP forums. ._.'

How you became a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic: I have a friend whos a big fan of MLP. She first showed me the fight from the end of season 4 but it just turned me off. I had at first kinda hated ponys because for awhile when I went looking for pictures of Pokemon I kept seeing pony versions of them. ._. Add to that I felt I was to old for ponys. Anyway last month she convinced me to watch the first three episodes, and again I wasn't sold on the show. Still something about the pony nagged at me and I decided to give them another chance about two weeks ago or so. I wasn't really sold on the show till I got to winter wrap up. After that I couldn't stop watching.

Well lets see I'm a girl and I'm really new to the show, at least Friendship is magic. I saw some of the old MLP growing up and even had a couple of toys. Its funny I had a pony OC back then, one that I'm kinda hoping to revive with a new name... as soon as I think of one that is not being used by other people. Oh and Season 5 of Friendship is Magic airs on my birthday. Oh and while I listed Flutter as my favorite mane six pony she is tied with Rainbow Dash. I'm like a mix of those two with a dash of Twilight mixed in personalty so I relate to them somewhat well.

 

I'm also a big fan of video games such as Pokemon, Harvest Moon aka Story of Seasons, Okami, zelda and Golden Sun to name a few.

The biggest thing I love to do is rp or read books though. I like reading fantasy books, my favorite series at the moment being Dragon Realms, by Richard a Knaak.

 

So that's about it I went from being someone who hated the show/annoyed by the show to someone who likes it. It was just a bit hard at first.

In all honesty, I was quite reluctant towards the show at first too, it's only later on that I saw the error of my ways.

Anyway, all things aside, it's great to have you here on the forum. I'm sure you're going to have a blast of a time here as there's everything you could want and more to entertain yourself here. In fact, you're free to turn to the general discussion section if you're keen on discussing some of your other interests too!

@Chip Circuit I'll be sure to do that if I get a little lost. I'll probably try to explore the art and general forums before I do anything else.

 

@KrazyDashie Honestly I'm not sure which generation of mlp I saw growing up. It wasn't a show that stuck in my memory. I do remember one of the toys I had which was Boysenberry Pie. Most likely I saw reruns of the older show.

 

@xThE CR1mS0n Cr0s5x You spotted a typo to. D: Glad I'm not the only one and yes Okami is amazing.
