For those who don't know, Mercury Filmworks is the animation company Disney uses to animate shows like Wander Over Yander, Star Vs. The Forces of Evil, and the Mickey Mouse shorts. Compared to DHX's work in Friendship is Magic, which does flash animation better?

DHX because of what they did for MLP:FiM.

DHX. Mercury Fimworks certainly does some pretty nice animation, but DHX knocks them out of the park for creating more fluid and complex animation. Episodes like Pinkie Pride show how amazing Flash is when in the right hands.

DHX Vancouver has natural, varied timing and appealing character designs, but their movement and coloring are inconsistent, ranging from fluid movement and beautiful colors to stiff movement and basic colors. Mercury filmworks has more consistent movement and coloring, but they overuse snappy timings, have generic character designs, and don't hit the same highs as dhx when it comes to color.
