This topic I've decided to open, for those who want to know if a certain thing is true or not, and are too lazy to research themselves. I could've just had my question, but once it's answered, this topic can be continued past it for anyponies needs...

To start off, is the fandom actually larger then the show (MLP) itself? I've been saying that, but I want reassurance.

there are more bronies then episodes... so I think the fandom is larger than the show

 

 I don't know the answer to that question... but. here. do you know the answer for what I don't know? (since I want answers on your question too )

Sorry if I was unclear. I meant about the number of people actually into the show itself, compared to the amount of people into the fandom (moreso then the show itself). Is the ratio more on the MLP fans side, or MLP fandoms side?

I think it's larger by volume, (shear number of bronies and conventions), but I don't really know how much that really means. There are a lot of media productions by bronies, but they are all small, the biggest being a video game or a long annimation. If the fandom ever completes some of the projects I've seen in the making, it will have contributed more product and might even make more revenue than Hasbro, so I think it isn't impossible to make a fandom larger than a show, it's just hard to catch up to the shear amount of work that writers and business leaders put into a product in such a short time, usually with little to no resources.

I don't know. I used to brony bash on the regular, until I got a wild hair up my #$#@ and then got into the MLP fandom slowly, ever so slowly. At first I watched a few episodes, then I watched the entire series. Then I watched the EG movies. Then I hit the internet. Then, last week I swallowed my pride and accepted my fate as a brony, and enlisted into the ranks of this forum.
