general questions How do member badges work and how to reach them?

So I know how to become a cupcake. Everybody knows how to become a muffin.

 

But there are heaps of other member status'es'essseseees!

I'm seeing people with parasprite, changeling, pony, Pegasus, even dragon, and I can't find anywhere that tells you how people reach those stages.

 

What are the requirements for reaching the stages above cupcake?

Just click on the muffin below your avatar and you'll see the complete list with the requirements needed to attain each rank.

Most of those 'badges', as they are called, are post-count activated. You can see the list, and what it takes to get them, by clicking on your current badge (which for you is a Muffin right now).

 

There are a couple of others. Administrators and Moderators get special badges. Sectional Staff doesn't at the moment. There are also special occasion badges that show up... on special occasions.

The badges work like milestones of how many posts did you made since you joined MLPForums.

 

To increase your rank,you must post on the different sections of MLPForums,which will increase your Post Total. Keep in mind that the posts made on:

-Welcoming Plaza

-Testing Forum

-Everfree Empire Roleplay OOC

-Equestrian Empire Roleplay OOC

-Cloudsdale Colliseum

Won't count towards the total

 

This FAQ should give you an idea of how to get through the ranks,and how many posts do you need to get each badge.

its all about posts. each rank is counted by posts. you could click your "muffin" ( ) and you can see how many posts you need for each rank :3
