Which is a good way to write and such, in the end I made this pony: Redone in colors: Yet I have no idea what to call her, found a few cutie marks maybe that might fit her but her colors seem a bit off and her mane and tail style so some feedback would be loved. Just swap the coat and mane colors unless you're going for tenebrism. The cutie mark could be ice cream, amusement park tickets, or a rainbow ... just anything optimistic really =3 Otherwise, I really like this design ^-^ Edit: I completely forgot about names xD I'm generally bad at naming things, but perhaps look at other similar oc ponies for inspiration? Antidaeophobia 299 April 19, 2015 Share April 19, 2015 Tone down the coat colour by a few shades to a more pastel. Staying away from dark colours is important when making an OC. I think the colour scheme is pretty good. Usually when you come up with a ponies special interest, you should pick something you know about and enjoy, so you can properly rpg it. Cutie mark is generally decided last after you come up with a special interest. I personally think a cherry blossom would look cute, and it could mean she has a talent involving some sort of botany. I think keep it more simple is a better bet, or making sure she has a good nickname. Spelling that name over and over, or people having to try and spell it properly, it might get annoying after awhile. Thing is, you might want to come up with her name last actually. Hammer our her personality and backstory first. I went through two names before finally settling on mine and it works our perfectly, but I had to sort of "live in his skin" for a bit before it finally came to me. Well then maybe her personality should be less "easy going and friendly." Certainly a diplomat must be polite, but they also must have a sense of professionalism if they are to represent there people. If we are going by Japanese cultural archetypes, she could be stoic and reserved. Still caring, just being less obvious about it than say Pinkie Pie would be.
