Swinton. Am thinking of having this interaction with Arcing Storm make Chrysteel's memory go fuzzy all of a sudden. Think that may help. She forgets her awareness to things because she is having fun.

Having her memory do that may perk the suspicions of the others but will more then likely confuse Chrysteel even more.

That works, but she's not a social pony though. I think Storm should initiate the conversation. She would go find Sparky then wonder how he ended up in maintenance when she's the only one who knows how he operates. Again doesn't seem natural to her.

Maybe she grabbed Sparky out to find out that it's still busted and decided to look for some help from, for no reason (or maybe what I told you about before in a post above), Storm?

Sparky is not a machine in the traditional sense though. She's the only one who knows how he works, and only she can do maintenance on the spells that make Sparky something other than an inanimate object. Magitek isn't exactly widespread, so unless her and Storm interacted a while ago, he would be of no help. Nor would he even be needed, really.

 

I really don't mean to sound weird or rude here. That's just how the character and companion were designed. It's experimental and not widespread.

Storm isn't all that much into Magitek but he has a friend who is into it. \

Storm knows an Unicorn who is called Techy. I haven't made the page for him yet but he would be a bit of a tech head, always researching and experimenting. In this RP, he could be researching Magitek.

I assure you I'm not being difficult on purpose. It's just how the stuff is set up, and it's difficult for me in some cases instead. I'm open to suggestions though.

I say you should attribute Sparky's disappearance to either...

 

A) Memory illusion shanaigans. Lektra fell asleep and simply lost track of him. Due to the haziness of this place we woke up in, her memory remembers him to be "in maintenance" or "at home", despite the fact that it simply isn't true. (Like Stormchaser's memory of having always lived here). It wouldn't be out of character, because she's under the influence of this strange illusion world. Bonus: She wouldn't know she was in an illusion world yet, so we could retcon a bit and figure it out together!

Or

Retcon Sparky. He was never there to begin with, or he simply was taken away by our guide or something before we fell asleep...I think this option would work best for this story, especially considering Swinton doesn't want Sparky coming back.

 

Are either of those helpful?

I think this issue has been holding us back long enough, and you might have to make a compromise you don't like for the sake of the RP, if we don't figure something out quickly. Another person just left, so we should really get this figured out before anyone else gets tired and does the same. ^^'

I don't think you need Sparky at all. Your OC is already really smart. Not having Sparky just means you'll have more opportunities for Lektra to use her head instead of her robot.

Seems kind of weird to learn about our elements and working together to NOT be thrust against some big bad something or other eventually.
