The 2015 SDCC Comic-Con MLP Exclusive Topic

It's starting to get to that time of year again, even though we're only 2-3 months away from the San Diego Comic-Con.  Sure it may sound early to talk about the Comic-Con exclusive My Little Pony toy.  But on the other hand, we're learning more about Hasbro's Comic-Con exclusives(We know about the GI Joe figures and there's word that Hasbro will also release its first line of Force Awakens toys for this year's Comic-Con).

In 2012, we got the legendary Derpy Hooves figure.  Not only did that figure sell out like crazy, it sold out really fast when it finally went online.  I acquired one through a third party group.

In 2013, DJ Pon3(AKA Vinyl Scratch) joined the exclusive group with a Swarvoski crystal-encrusted figure(Later on, Twilight got a figure of her own with the same crystals).  I acquired two: One for me and one for a relative

In 2014, we got two exclusives.  The first was the Mane-Iac in Pony form with Spike the Dragon.  The second was an Equestria Girls version of the Mane-Iac.  As with the DJ Pon3, I got two Mane-Iacs(One for me and one for a relative) all while acquiring the Equestria Girls figure for myself(Ironically, it's my first Equestria Girls figure).

So what do you suppose we'll get this year?  Discord? Daring Do?  Starlight Glimmer?  Tirek?

I wouldn't be surprised if we saw more Power Ponies. It makes sense for a place like Comic-Con

We're already getting the Power Ponies in toy form later this year from Hasbro at various stores.  So that's a bit of a doubt.

I wish I could've gotten the SDCC exclusive Derpy and Vinyl (they're my two favorite characters) but I've never been to a con to get one, they're too expensive, and I don't buy things online, so I'm kinda shit outta luck ):

My guess as to what'll hit up SDCC this year? Ummmmm....hopefully somepony I could care less about, so I won't have to lust for it. Dr. Hooves, Fluttershy, Apple Jack, Big Mac,

They're going to be an SDCC exclusive and they didn't make a Padres Pinkie Pie? Huge missed opportunity.

Yeah.  Big time.  I may get the New York Yankee Pinkie.  But I dunno about the others.

Anyway, since Comic-Con will come up next week, I wanna talk about the exclusives, plus some good news.

First up, the 4th MLP:FiM Exclusive succeed Derpy Hooves, DJ Pon-3 and the Mane-Iac: Pinkie "Chicken" Pie, which was seen on the Season 2 Nightmare Night episode.  Like DJ Pon-3 and MAne-Iac, Pinkie will cost $49.99

Second up, the Equestria Girls exclusive will be Science Twilight with Spike the Dog and a locker for all her science-y goodness.  She'll retail for $34.99.

More information is at http://sdccblog.com/2015/07/hasbro-san-diego-comic-con-2015-exclusives/

ANd BTW, here's the good news: Comic-Con will remain in San Diego through 2018.  Details at  http://sdccblog.com/2015/07/san-diego-comic-con-contract-extended-to-keep-convention-in-san-diego-through-2018/
