Sidral Mundet 1,666 May 5, 2015 Share May 5, 2015 (edited) So there are several episodes in MLP that have duel (or sometimes more) lead characters in them, such as Look Before You Sleep, Green Isn't Your Color, Sisterhoof Social, Bats! and Simple Way. My question is does those episodes count towards the number of episodes focusing around said character? For example is Simple Ways a Rarity episode, an Applejack Episode, it counts for both, or it counts for neither? I generally go with neither since specific character episodes usually focus heavily on the lead pony of said episode. Edit: there was meant to be a "for" in the title. Jangocoolguy 433 May 5, 2015 Share May 5, 2015 Depends on how you want to look it, really. Eye of the beholder... For example, I think of "Spike at Your Service" as an Applejack episode and makes it a lot easier for me to watch 1 "It's like I found a piece of myself I didn't even know was missing!" How do you think WE feel?!

I generally go with neither since specific character episodes usually focus heavily on the lead pony of said episode. Normally I consider it their episode if they're the main characters if said episode, but it also depends on how one sees it. For example, I consider Sisterhooves Social a Rarity ep and a Sweetie Belle ep, I consider Look Before You Sleep a Rarity ep and an AJ ep, I consider Testing Testing 123 a Twilight ep and a Rainbow Dash ep. Then there's episodes that has one central main character but has another character with a lot of focus, but not enough for it to be considered their ep as well, like so: Simple Ways is a Rarity ep with lots of AJ, Hurricane Fluttershy is a Fluttershy ep with lots of Rainbow, Griffon the Brush Off is a Pinkie ep with lots of Rainbow, and etc
Celli 4,349 May 5, 2015 Share May 5, 2015 I think it counts for both characters.
Firedog 321 May 5, 2015 Share May 5, 2015 I have always counted the episode for both of the characters. Just because if their is not a noticeable enough lead in one character to make it their episode it only makes since that it's both. But I suppose it's personal opinion Pony NEWS YouTube Channel
Pastel 7,630 May 5, 2015 Share May 5, 2015 (edited) To me, it counts for both of them. Thus I'd say Simple Ways (for example) is an Applejack episode, but also a Rarity episode. Edited May 5, 2015 by Blobulle
The Awesome One 1,315 May 5, 2015 Share May 5, 2015 If there was an episode centered on the Spike and Applejack (for example), then I would say that they both count as the leads. It's only logical.
Blue Moon 6,345 May 5, 2015 Share May 5, 2015 Usually, those episodes work with developing the relationship between the two lead characters, so since they're both being developed; I'd say the episode counts as an episode focused on both characters.
