  1. 1. How do split lead episode go towards their respective leads?

    • The episode counts for one charcter
      1
    • It counts for both
      12
    • It counts for neither

So there are several episodes in MLP that have duel (or sometimes more) lead characters in them, such as Look Before You Sleep, Green Isn't Your Color, Sisterhoof Social, Bats! and Simple Way.

My question is does those episodes count towards the number of episodes focusing around said character? For example is Simple Ways a Rarity episode, an Applejack Episode, it counts for both, or it counts for neither? I generally go with neither since specific character episodes usually focus heavily on the lead pony of said episode.

Edit: there was meant to be a "for" in the title. My bad

Depends on how you want to look it, really. Eye of the beholder...

For example, I think of "Spike at Your Service" as an Applejack episode and makes it a lot easier for me to watch :)

Normally I consider it their episode if they're the main characters if said episode, but it also depends on how one sees it. For example, I consider Sisterhooves Social a Rarity ep and a Sweetie Belle ep, I consider Look Before You Sleep a Rarity ep and an AJ ep, I consider Testing Testing 123 a Twilight ep and a Rainbow Dash ep.

Then there's episodes that has one central main character but has another character with a lot of focus, but not enough for it to be considered their ep as well, like so: Simple Ways is a Rarity ep with lots of AJ, Hurricane Fluttershy is a Fluttershy ep with lots of Rainbow, Griffon the Brush Off is a Pinkie ep with lots of Rainbow, and etc

To me, it counts for both of them.

Thus I'd say Simple Ways (for example) is an Applejack episode, but also a Rarity episode.
