Does anyone want a MLP platformer game by Nintendo?

It's about time an official video game release on MLP be made. How many years has it been... doesn't Hasbro get tired of selling just toys? I just want a platformer of MLP preferably 2D but 3D wouldn't hurt either. No motion capture... :/

Whoa... For Nintendo to be doing the developing would be quite extreme. It's one thing for Nintendo to be the publisher but a totally different thing for them to be doing the developing. I just doubt that Nintendo will sink man hours and resources into a project that isn't as marketable as their main IPs. That's what I think.

Uh, pretty sure Nintendo has developed some games...

(and yes, those games have been developed by Nintendo, not just published).

You're asking for something they won't do, if you want some games you could try that new "Twilight Escape".

I wouldn't say it'd be 100% unlikely. But yes, it'd be unlikely.

Anyway, at the moment any type of MLP game would be awesome from a triple-A developer. Let's hope somewhere in the future a large developer does make a game for MLP.

Anybody but Nintendo. I can't stand that company. They don't even care for third-party developers. Just look at the Wii U's library. You can count the number of third-party titles on just one hand, and that's why the console bombed.

Even if they did develop/publish an MLP game, it would just get delayed, and all you'd hear from that asshole Iwata is "Please understand! Please understand! Please understand!"

MLP deserves better. If you want a platformer, I'd recommend giving it to WayForward or Double Helix to publish on PSN and XBL.

You misunderstand. I was referring to Nintendo to be doing the development of an MLP game specifically. I'm a Metroid fan which is a Nintendo 1st party franchise so yeah.

That sounds awesome! :pinkie:

That's the kind of game that Nintendo would nail right on the head :squee:

How would it play though? Would it be like Mario, Kirby or like something entirely different?

I would absolutely love a FiM platformer, just not by Nintendo, only because I would prefer a third party developer for a pony game. One like WayForward, who is well acquainted in the genre and has expressed interest in making a FiM game. Apparently they just need Hasbro's permission and it would be a go, according to them. I just wish that would happen.
