Fracture suddenly notices that fire is engulfing the area around him, reminding him of the incredibly painful day in which his hoof was torn off by an explosion, when the pain from his burns was almost unbearable. "What a coincidence." he thinks; "I guess that now would be a good time to die." But he then realizes, since he would probably die anyway, that he should try to do so with a purpose. At this thought, he disregards all pain and danger, and while Fear is preoccupied, he jumps out of the tent and swings his saw with all of his remaining strength toward Fear's other eye.

Fear smirks as Fracture came out of the burning tent and threw a saw at her disappearing and reappearing behind Fracture and broke his neck.(DEAD for now.)

Scare then watches as his lifeless body hits the sand with a dull thud Time seemed to stop, Scare turned to Fear hatred fills her eyes, suddenly Scare notices nopony was moving, 

"seems like you lost another one huh." a voice said to Scare.

"Chaotic this is no time for your games!"Scare yells.

"fine but i am gonna give you a chance to change the event that recently transpired."  Chaotic said as she reversed time back to when Fracture erupted from the tent

Fear smirks as Fracture came out of the burning tent and threw a saw at her disappearing and reappearing behind Fracture and before she could grab his neck Scare tackled her to the ground. out of surprise Fear teleported herself and her unconscious group of ponies back to her hideout.

In the far too sudden combination of violence, blood loss, fire, bad memories, suicidal thoughts, further endangering Scare and others against his intentions, expecting to die and not doing so, and Fear's teleportation, Fracture is overwhelmed for the first time in his life, and he falls to the ground, unconsoius.

"why cant she just face us like a real pony!" Banner shouted in anger as she saw Fear teleport away "I need to cool off a bit" she said walking away from the group trying to calm herself down from what just happened. which bags did I get? she thought then started to look throw them

Scare watched Banner walk off Scare realized that something odd about the way Fear acted and looked she seemed different than she remembers, suddenly it dawned on her the "Fear" that kept attacking them was in fact not Fear at all.

"Fear" entered the throne room and kneeled before the throne, "i am sorry mistress i have failed you." 'Fear' said to the pony sitting on the throne, the pony was grey, with a white mane with a red stripe in it, and gold studs in her ears,(basically looks like Scare with messier hair.)

"It is alright my dear Dramatic you are leading them to me so i can dispose of them myself."FEAR said as she laughed a maniacal laugh.

Buzz still laid in the tent, asleep, unaware of what had happened outside or the fact the tent was on fire. He would have stayed asleep if the brightness of the fire hadn't caught his eyes. "Ugh....Rave, wh..what are you doing?" Buzz said as he opened his eyes to see everything around him on fire. "No,no,no. Not again" Buzz said aloud. Then he realised he hadn't been affected by the fire so far and woundered why. Then he saw why: his 'ability', which is what he called it, had decided to work. He got up and quickly rushed out the tent. The feild didn't leave him till he had left the tent, where he saw the aftermath of the battle."What the buck happened here!" Buzz said, his voiced raised but not at shouting levels.

Scare looked at Buzz who just ran out of his burning tent, "We were just attacked which you managed to sleep through,"Scare said as she went back to her thoughts,if that pony wasn't Fear then who was she? Scare thought then looked in the direction Banner walked off in, Maybe I should check on her to see if she is okay. Scare started walking toward Banner, stopping when she saw Banner looking through her bags, "you alright?" Scare asked Banner with a bit of concern in her voice which she didn't know she had.

"yeah just mad at Fear" she said to Scare in a low tone "I got four bags from our tent, one is yours, two are food, and one is supplies" she listed off to her "I got the bag that had your marshmallows in it" she said faking a smile looking at her trying not to show she was steaming inside

"Hey don't let her get you down she ran because she's a coward."Scare said sitting next to Banner, "Anyway what did Fear do to make you mad? and don't say because she is evil, that is only an excuse." Scare asked looking at Banner.

Dramatic sat in the hanger looking at her older sister Broken Heart. "Heart have you ever wondered what happened to big sister?" Dramatic  asked Broken Heart.

 

"All i know Dramatic is that she died when the Equestrian Army raided the town." Broken Heart answered her younger sister.

 

"What if she survived though?"

 

"She didn't Dramatic and that is the truth. Why all the sudden interest in our older sister anyway?" Broken Heart said glaring atDramatic.

 

"Because I think i saw her tonight, this grey pony acted just like sis did when she fought off those bullies who picked on you, me, and Chaotic."

 

"So she is over protective big deal, does not mean she is big sis." Broken said in an enraged manner." Big sis is dead end of story."Broken Heart then ran off. leaving Dramatic alone in the hanger.

"the reason is that she has done something that no pony will ever do from now on, and that's hurt you and the rest of my friends, those ponies at the camp I at least knew a bit about each one, some I knew about there lives, there families, there loyalty" Banner said in the same low tone "and now that most are gone I...I could NEVER forgive her" she said in a more stern tone

Fracture slowly wakes up, and he immediately begins crying again, completely unable to control himself. Through nearly inaudible, hiccup-like sobs, he says to no one in particular, "I'm not in denial, but I would surely love for this to be a dream, and I could just wake up without having made so many mistakes; I'm truly sorry for endangering you all at no fault other than my own, and... I indirectly ruined a perfectly good tent." Usually a very rational and logical pony, Fracture had never been in the position of being unable to handle a situation to the most basic extent, and this shock leaves him trembling in a silent emotional breakdown, after years of feeling worthless.

"now hatred is something i can relate with Banner," Scare Said to Banner, "but the pony you claim you hate the one we saw tonight she isn't the one to deserve your hate. she is nothing but a pawn."  Scare said while grabbing her bag Banner set aside, reaching in and pulling out her sister's medallion necklace. "because i know she definitely was not Fear."

"she must have been a commander of those ponies she was with" she said thinking then saw Scare with the necklace "another think from your sister I suppose?" she asked her "I don't mean to bring up something you don't want to talk about but I want to know more about you" she explained

"Okay if you like to get to know me better then okay." Scare said, "it happened ten years ago, my sisters Heart and Dramatic Effect were the only thing i cared about, because we were orphaned when our parents died in a rock slide i had to take a job as an assistant  to a scientist in order to take care of my two younger sisters. the scientist was a kind old mare who took us in after finding out i was taking care of two young fillies and also being a young filly myself. but anyway one day while Heart, Dramatic, and me were playing in the fields on the out skirts of town, Dramatic saw smoke coming from the village i told them to stay there while i go see what was going on, once there i saw that the village was burning. I ran to my house and i saw an Equestrian Soldier set my house on fire, i was so angry i attacked and killed him for ruining my home,after which i looked up as i watched my home burn only to be struck from behind and knocked unconscious, when i came too, i ran back to the field where i told my sisters to wait but they were gone and the only thing left of our village and of my sisters is this medallion." Scare said as she began to cry.

"this is what I would fear would happen, you crying I mean" she said to Scare "you have had a rough life mine pails in comparison, but I know that we will get your life back on track after Fear is gone, I don't know how but I will do my best" she said trying to inspire her and stop her from crying

"thanks Banner, and i know that when Fear is gone i can start over here." Scare said wiping away her tears, she then hugged Banner.

 

"Well don't you two make a cute couple." a cheerful voice said behind them, making Scare figuratively jumping out of her fur, "Well Scare aren't you gonna introduce me to this lovely mare?" turning around the voice came from a yellow pegasus mare who wore a star medallion with five stones in it, her mane was a constant changing colorful mess, and had rainbow colored eyes.

 

"Um...Banner this is my friend Chaotic flier. and Chaotic Flier my marefriend Banner." Scare introduced the two.

"well any sarcastic magic being that is a friend of Scare's is a friend of mine...I think" she said to Chaotic saying the first things that came to her mind "so how do you know Scare? I want to know because I have never heard of you" she said with intrigue in her voice

"Oh i am Scare's oldest friend we have been friends since the destruction of Ore town, also known as Scare's home." Chaotic said to Banner, then turned to Scare, "I just stopped by to tell Scare here that Fear is building it again.anyway talk to you later Banner i've got a tea party my counter part invited me too, so see ya."with that Chaotic's necklace glowed and she disappeared.

 

Scare just stood there in horror at what she just been told.

Rave had been observing and listening to Banner's and Scare's conversation, using his shadow form, empowered by the horn of Sombra. However, when Chaotic had entered the conversation, he had shy'ed away, knowing that nothing good would come of spying on that pegasus. "I have enough information already" he said to himself. If one wanted to defeat someone, it was best knowing their foe. "Towns burning? I have burned a lot of towns with my older brother" he thought to himself.

"so you seem pretty concerned about what ever this 'it' is. I am too because if Fear has it then it must not be good" Banner said to Scare after seeing her in horror from what was said "so what is it is it a tank? a flying war blimp? a different flying thing?" she started to ramble on like this until Scare would answer

"No none of those things, 'it' is a device that sucks the souls out of everypony and transfers these souls into Fear," Scare said looking at Banner,"It is the same device Fear used when she destroyed my homeland. I thought she would never use it again when it transferred the souls into the wrong body and nearly killing her."

"she's crazy trying to use the same plan that almost killed her, and for trying to kill all those innocent ponies!" she yelled when she heard what Scare said "she will not take anymore lives as long as we are still here" she said in a inspiring voice but inside she was actually very worried about all this

Rave was looking over some of the supplies. He looked around, making sure that no one was looking. He took some food and water. He looked at it for a moment, focusing on it, his horn glowing a bit. The food turned to dust. He poured the water into the ground. He then made a little wreck of things near the food supplies to make it look as if a battle had been going on. He walked back to the other ponies. "It seems our supplies have been sabotaged. I don't think we have enough for this journey..... unless we take one other path that I know about".

"Your right about that Banner but in order to make sure she doesn't get a chance to use it,we have to leave right away." Scare standing up and motioned Banner to follow then headed back to camp. Once back at camp Scare saw Buzz standing there like a statue, Fracture was wallowing in self pity, And Rave talking about the food being sabotaged. "No worries we still have three days worth of food left and that is enough time because now that I know Fracture ran here on three hooves i think we are pretty close to their hide out anyway." Scare said confidently, "also we are leaving behind anything we don't need so we can move faster."Scare turned to the other two "alright we're leaving in ten minutes pack the necessities and don't bother with the tents."

Rave was angry, but did not show it. The only thing that could be seen was that he had a bit of a irritated look. "Alright, if you really think so". He walked away, gathering his things. "Not like you have explored the lands of Equestria ever since you got your cutie mark" he mumbled to himself.
