It's the eyes isn't it? Drawing eyes from memory isn't a good idea when you think cat eyes are creepy anyways.

That's an interesting idea, but I must admit that the eyes do look a bit creepy.

I suggest adding a highlight to the eyes like ponies' eyes have in the canon art style and making the eyes look a bit more three-dimensional.
