You obviously don't realize the ELEC and PSY pokemon from G1 were nearly unstoppable, and psychic pokemon are still has only one weakness.

 

Banned because Zapdos against Lorelei seemed liked a good idea at the time, until you forgot that Ice is strong vs fly.
