Is Fluttershy more emotional than her friends?

I had someone say this to me before, but couldn't tell if it was true or not. So is she more emotional than her friends, or is it how people tend to portray her?

Possibly, she seems anxious at times but since we saw Rainbow crying recently, I don't think she is that more emotional than the rest... She is probably just showing her emotions more openly^^

I don't think she's more emotional than any of the others, however, her introversion does make her prone to being more of a shrinking violet in the face of any perceived conflicts.

I think it's more about showing your emotions, than being emotional. All of the ponies have been emotional and had strong bursts of different kind of emotions. Some ponies might not show their emotions so strongly like AJ or Twilight for example. I personally think that Rarity, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie and Fluttershy are kinda on the same level but with different emotions.

All the ponies are very emotional to me. Applejack is the least emotional one unless it involves fruit bats and unknown happenings.

 

I feel that the words emotion and emotional have been misused by people for decades.

If being emotional only means negative emotions then yes but all of them have quite a wide range of emotions that show all of the time from happiness to confusion.

No she is just really shy and is more prone to crying than the rest of the Mane 6. All of the Mane 6 members can get really emotional except for Applejack (she cries on the inside).

The most open about her emotions, anyway. To me, she really seems just quite more timid and nervous more than anything, not necessarily "more emotional."

Emotional as an adjective has the idea of "intense feeling" according to dictionary.com, so no, I don't think she is the most emotional because she is never really intense about her feelings (except a rare moment of anger.) She's more tender than emotional to me. Here's how I see them:

 

1. Rarity 

2. Rainbow Dash 

3. Pinkie Pie

4. Twilight

5. Fluttershy (she could be four or five, really.)

6. Applejack
