Well, if Reaver and Little Red are going to be waylaid due to IRL circumstances, I have an idea: Peregrine and Guy-Man can explore each of their prospective estates after Blitz ends up being put up to some more construction work, and she asks Glider to help her with that.

So do I need to do something before I start construction on a home? I'm thinking about having my character make a library/home some time. It wouldn't exactly be that important to the island, but I think it would fit my (extremely undeveloped) character pretty well.

Basically we have the NPC Sylvia Lovelace handling the allotment of properties. Basically she's a free use NPC for everybody to use. I've recently played her as a no-nonsense mare who's got the weight of entire emerging town on her withers, but she's trying really hard to make sure that ponies aren't going to be miserable in whatever conditions they find themselves in.

 

Let me see if I can find the section where two of the residents interacted with her, as played by me...

 

And I found it. Hopefully it gives you an idea for the process in terms of in-character events.

Danish, you really should properly tag people's names so they get notifications. It's really simple

There's a trick you can use where you highlight some text that someone wrote, and an option comes up to "@mention" someone.  It's pretty nifty

I want to join, but I don't think I can read 37 pages worth of RP and still make it before sad RP shuts down. If someone can tell me the essentials before I start would be a huge motivator for me.

He traveled because the mayor of his previous town was not doing a good job and the whole place seemed unsalvageable. Besides vetue loves company, so he figured that people brave enough to travel to a whole new world couldn't be too bad, that and a pamphlet describing the wonders of living life on an island.
