She moves the scyth to block the fladh bang as she shifts to the left to avoid the first thrown capsaisin.

 

Midnight chuckles as she says, "your not to smart, are you? My reflexes are second to nearly none. They don't call me reaper for nothing."

 

She lunges forward and slashes with her scyth. What ever gets hit is covered in a crystal like substance. When light touches the crystals, they get really bright and start to heat up.

"That's the thing about meta humans though," Draco said as he ducked under the scythe. Sending a large haymaker to the Reaper's chin.  Knocking her back. "Your all so over confident in your abilities," Draco said simply as he threw his last capsule and it broke open in her eyes. The liquid heat burned her eyes.

"I saw someone. It looked like a man but it was really blurry. I'd have to actually go to the crime scene to see for myself. Maybe I'd be able to see more clearly there. Who else is on this case? They might have some knowledge that could be really helpful in solving this."

First this other guy shows up, acting all smart, and then Terrorsaur broke down the vault, attacking the dragon; Pat was beginning to question what was going on. There were so many other "heroes" here that he didn't even know the name of. One of them broke off to take care of the one guy.

 

'Well, hopefully they can handle him, though I'm actually more worried about that guy; but right now I think Terrorsaur is a bigger threat.'

 

He created his standard shield and staff, and with his shield in front, he charged at Terrorsaur to get him off of the dragon.

She backs off. The crystals are expanding rapidly. Midnight is using a solution on her eyes that she pulled from her bag. It will take a moment to clear her eyes.

 

Draco should realize his mistake, the crystals are expanding faster then he could have anticipated. It seems distracting her should be backing him into a corner.

 

The light and heat of the crystals is like a flashlight to the face and heat of a fire.

Tempest recovered from the attack and growled, as electricity arced around his body. "Well excuse me for trying to be cliche." He muttered as he glanced at Draco and Midnight. "This could be interesting, but the other guys takes priority." He thought as he fired enough electricity to stun a charging rhino at Terrosaur.

As Terrorsaur threw off Weiss he was zapped by Tempest, his exosuit shorted out and he was locked in place "Damn it! NO!"

"Right away, we will have to get you suited up follow me" Jane lead her out of the mourge and to the armory, she was given a bullet proof vest, a baseball cap with an eye on the front "here, so people know your with us and" she handed her a police issue pistol "For emergencies"

"That's what I was counting on," Draco said with a grin on his face. "See those innocent people there. You really should learn how to control your own powers," Draco said as he ran from the blinded superheroine. Then right into the lobby of the bank. "Balls!" Draco muttered slightly as he saw the fight between the three.

She then looks towards the bank and walks closer her eyes a silver and the scyth turns white. Midnight's and Aurora's voices blend. "Now that was your biggest mistake. Putting innocent civilians in the way will cost you. Now the reaper will reap you."

 

She begins to advance as the now white scyth is dragged purposely on the ground. She then lunges near him. "Final Lotus!"

She then looks towards the bank and walks closer her eyes a silver and the south turns white. Midnight's and Aurora's voices blend. "Now that was your biggest mistake. Putting innocent civilians in the way will cost you. Now the reaper will reap you."

 

She begins to advance as the now white scyth is dragged purposely on the ground. She then lunges near him. "Final Lotus!"

 

Crystals rocket out from her in all directions leaving a lotus flower. Hopefully it in cases both him and her. It actively avoids all innocent people nearby, leaving them unharmed.

"Not my fault that you can't control your powers Little Reaper," Draco stated as he grinned. as he watched the crystals fly towards him. He ran to Terrorsaur. ducking under the wildfire and through his legs. The crystals encased the plague masked villian with a grin. "Next time aim," Draco said then ran outside quickly.

Aurora says, "Then I wouldn't use your car. It's still covered in them." She looks to the others. "Sorry but that guy is a suspicious person. He also targets innocent people. A little help. Big guy's going nowhere anytime soon."

 

She then gives chase again after him.

(Her power is in control with both halves of herself are insinc. Which they are.)

"I want to tear his heart out and put it in the music." Silverlight mutters to herself before nodding, "I'm not actually that great in a straight up fight. I'm more of a back line kind of person, away from the shooting but ready to support my allies."

 

At the mention of allies she pauses, then sighs, "Not that there are many left nowadays. The contract world was falling apart even before this Fear nutjob started mucking everything up for everyone. I've had to kill two people I had just shared a drink with for a successful operation the day before. It's a shame one of the others got away, called himself Heat Wave and fancied himself a bruiser of sorts, all he was was a small timer thinking he could run with the big leagues."

 

The news report gives her pause for a moment, "Just a second, let me tune it to a police frequency..." a quick hack into the car's radio, easily done by an interface via touching the radio deck, jumps the car onto the police band, allowing her and shade to hear some new details.

 

The dispatcher drones on, " All units all units, be advised of a currently unfolding metacrime . Anyone without metahuman response training should stay away from the are surrounding the Bank. Current Intel reports two combatants, one hero one unknown, with a third hostile combatant currently disabled and presumed unconscious. "

 

Silverlight sighs, "Sounds like we missed the good bit anyway. There's always next time that we can butt heads with some metas though, isn't there?" she asks with a smirk

"I've never really have had too many allies in the past, that I remember anyway. Most of my contracts have been solo ventures, never really given the chance to partner up with someone. Though if you had to kill me, you would have a pretty hard time with that," Shade replied slyly. 

 

After Sliverlight changed the frequency to the police channel, Shade was amazed. "Damn, you have your way with technology. I hope we can actually work together so I can take advantage of your skills. Any supe would have a hard time beating us. With your tech support and my skills, we would make a formidable team."

 

The pier soon was in sight of the pair as Shade followed Silverlight's directions. "Looks like we are almost there. Ready to meet our client?"

Pat stopped himself when the lightning struck Terrorsaur; it was so close he felt his hair stand on end. Then Terrorsaur dropped to the floor and seemed immobilized.

 

"Uh... does this mean we got him?"

 

He asked. 

 

'Well, if it turns out he's got fight left, I suppose these guys can take care of him.'

 

"I'll, go help take care of the other guy..."

 

He said out loud as he turned to go, and ran to go help. He created some shackles around the guys legs and then threw his shield.

Silverlight smiles, "I'd rather not even try to kill you, if how you broke your phone is any evidence, you're far more well versed in the art of taking a life than I am."

 

At his compliment she allows herself a small smirk, "Technology is sort of my life, so I got good at it due to necessity... I think any team with both of us in it would be terrifying though."

 

As Shade parks Silverlight dismounts the car immediately, walking calmly toward the warehouse. She opens the door and gestures for Shade to enter, "You take point, I'll follow." she says, waiting for him to lead the way.

Lilith took the gun and the bullet proof vest. She felt even more nervous now taking the gun. She had never fired one in her whole entire life. "Will I be working alone on this?" She hoped not after all she was not a person that was truly strong. She had no control over her powers. The cat from before was gone but she could still feel the presence in the room hovering around her as if to say that it was ready to play.

Inside the warehouse was simply empty space except for a woman seemingly in her 30s standing in the center of the room. She spotted the two when they walked in. "You two are early. " She said as if she was annoyed for some reason. It could've been her normal tone of voice though. "No matter, let's get started."

Draco was almost out the door. He yelled out pretending to be innocent. "HELP! Vigilante brutality!" he yelled drawing a scene to the people. Bringing more people to the scene.He sighed to himself as he watched. He hopped into the crowd disappearing into it. He grinned slightly.

Shade nodded approvingly to Silver's comment of not killing him. If only she knew why killing me would be rather difficult. Healing factor makes it way too hard to die... Shade then parks the car near the warehouse and grabs his gear from the backseat. "I'm coming, I'm coming. Just want to grab my gear to make sure nobody that shouldn't be here doesn't snoop on us."

 

Shade enters the warehouse with a pistol drawn. The room looked to be clear except for the seemingly annoyed woman. She replies on their early arrival which Shade responds, "Hey, what's wrong with being early? And I remember hearing a man's voice over the phone, are you his assistant or just really sound masculine over the phone?" Shade puts down his pistol but keeps it his his hand. He wants to be ready in case of anything.

Silverlight shrugs at the woman's seemingly annoyed tone, "If you're done with complaining about our punctuality, I'd like to get down to business. What's the job, and how much am I getting payed? I don't care why I'm being hired, just what for." she states flatly, knowing that if she lets herself be walked over by this woman any chance at a decent payout for the job basically falls out the window.

The woman frowned even deeper (If that was possible), but decided to ignore Shade's comment on her voice. "You were contacted by another who works for your client, but let's get to why you're here. You two are going to break into a highly secure laboratory and steal experimental technology. As for what you're being paid..." She picked up a briefcase beside her and opened it. Inside was neatly stacked 100 dollar bills. "50 thousand now as a down payment. 100 thousand when the job is done."

Tempest sighed as he watched Draco. "Well, this just got annoying. I wonder what else I can do." He thought to himself as he flew into the air. The dragon then thought about what he would do for tonight. "I hope Aurora and that other guy show up tonight. It'll be awkward if it's just me."

*Sasha sighed as she walked out of the bank following Terrorsaur's arrest. She created a platform of shadows on the ground and stepped onto it as it rose up into the sky, taking a more cloudy appearance. She sat down on the platform and looked down over the block where combat had just taken place and rolled up the lower part of her mask. She reached into her jacket and pulled out a box of cigarettes and a lighter and lit one up.*

"Guess they didn't really need my help after all. So many heroes in this city, always dog pile onto the issues."

*She took a puff of her cigarette and blew the smoke into the breeze.*

Draco was laughing to himself as he gotten away. again. "Oh the thrill of it," Draco said as he looked around. He saw the cuffs on him. "Balls," Draco muttered as he started to pick the cuffs. 89 tumbler lock. Huh clever boy," Draco said as he grinned. "These heroes are going to be quite fun to mess with," Draco said as he didn't notice a hero on a mass of shadows.
