You Die And Wake Up In Hell What Now?

To be honest that makes the Abrahamic God sound like a abusive parent.

Even in the Bible he's said to be a jealous God with a firm hand. He believes he is worthy of being the only thing relevant to our existence but still gives us the ability to decide what to do with our lives even if it means forgetting he exists at all.

People assume that just because he's a creation deity he has to be benevolent and always a nice guy. He's not just another person, he's the one who gave you life. Not in a parenting kind of way but your existence literally wouldn't even be possible if it weren't for him so why shouldn't you be thankful for that? That's the line of thinking we're given, anyway.

On topic: What a disturbing and dark thread for a forum about a show about colorful ponies.

There's several hundreds of active members here at any given time. We're a diverse group. A forum doesn't have to exist for one purpose. In fact, if it did then the forum would be considerably less active.

This particular part of the forum isn't about MLP or anything related to it.

But Hell would twist it to where you will still feel emotions so that whatever pain they deal to you has the maximum effect.

Emotions aren't the same as physical pain. Pain isn't an emotion, it's your brain reacting and telling you "hey, that shit's not good"

I can be pretty sadistic if i have to, worse than any demon. We'll see what they think of me when i have them running for the hills. Run, little boys run. lol.

I doubt that considering they have supernatural powers

I've been through worse, i've nearly died twice; so death isn't any concern.

Being tortured for eternity and not being able to be put out of your misery is a far worse fate than death.

Nobody can take a joke, can they?

Considering the way youre talking it seemed like you were very serious about how strong willed you are

I'm very convincing, but in truth i am. But we can't be sure of what they could so based off a story, we'll just have to wait and see for ourselves.

Emotions do, however, affect how you react to pain. It's one thing if you could bear it but if you, say, suddenly had an extreme fear of pain it would be the worst thing ever.

I think I'd... I don't know. :l Part of me would want to argue against the need for hell, even knowing that it'd be futile of me... another part would be interested in exploring hell, and finding out about the lives and deeds of the people there. Ultimately, I would like to help make the people there that are friendly or innocent enough a little more happy, somehow... at least then, I could see some purpose in the darkness. That's how I feel, at least; I'm sure I'd feel or think even a little differently if I actually did arrive there... And I guess not all of what I said would even be possible in Hell, perhaps, but if they were, that would be preferable. ^^

It's really easy to be convincing on the internet, there's no expression in your words.

that's why it's so hard to be sarcastic on the internet without using italics

True, but its hard to take a story seriously, when there's very little evidence behind it. So the people who say they've seen heaven or the like can't be taken seriously; its just their word against yours. Unless they can back up their claim of being there; its stands as only words.

Declare myself clinically insane and praise Cthulhu as my true lord and savior.

You don't have to wait to do that.  Start now! : D

Lol @ the people who say pain doesn't bother them.  Pain.  Excruciating pain; likely involving hellfire.  Endured for all of eternity.  Yeah.  Double lol @ anyone who's going to fight off all the denizens of hell by their lonesome; though you get points for spunk.  I mean, I knew Broners were badasses and everything...  But seriously?

Me?  I'd wake up shortly thereafter.  Because hell hell doesn't exist, and I'd obviously just be dreaming.  Besides, I'm going off with Angelbabe after I pass away.  Hell isn't an option, and she's my idea of heaven. x3

I would slay everything there then slowly crawl back to the surface.

Slowly.

Then destroy the planet.

Then the universe.

Then the multiversee.

All by myself. I'M A BIG BOY NOW!!

Welllllllll  since it's not real anyway,  Hell would have to be my own take on it.  Since that's as valid as every other take.   And in my lore,  Hell is just a place with demons of allll kind.

So first thing I'd do is find the incubus den.    And If I have to explain what will happen there......use your imagination.

Hel is just Norse Hell. ^^' It's still the undesirable afterlife.

Thats funny because Vahalla, where everyone is pissed and always fighting, isn't that desirable either. XD

It isn't if you are like most people but if you are like this guy on the other hand it is indeed quite the paradise.

If it's the popular notion of hell, like Dante's Inferno, then I'd feel screwed. I'd probably say something like this:

"What the hell? God exists after all? My existence is eternally fucked up!"

I'd say following that advice is fairly decent.

If you're going through hell, keep on going..

Don't slow down, if you're scared don't show it...

You might get out 'fore the Devil even knows you're there...

If you're going through hell, keep on moving..

Face that fire, Walk right through it...

I would go find all the cool atheists and we'd have a "We were wrong" party of something. George Carlin would be there, Neil deGrasse Tyson... it'd be cool.

Legit answer, I'd probably curse god with as many expletives possible and demand he explain his complete lack of logic with his ideas.
