I mean, it is hard to keep the audience happy when you have a music channel since they want music shoved down their throats :T. Tom Snyder 4,112 June 22, 2015 Author Share June 22, 2015 (edited) I'm only capable of so much, but it just isn't enough when i try and do better. Plus i have other obligations to keep, i can't just focus on that particular channel when i have two others. JonasDarkmane 19,788 June 22, 2015 Share June 22, 2015 Then focus on the other one. Don't make this more difficult for yourself than it has to be 2 Signature by @Kyoshi Ask Me Matsunaga Hisahide's death https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BKT5Khp3-0U

Satsuki Kiryuin 1,155 June 22, 2015 Share June 22, 2015 It's incredible how much you can do in a day if you set your mind to it. That said, if you're struggling to keep your music channel active, then that may simply mean that you're just not passionate enough about it to run it at its full potential. I suggest focusing on your two other channels. Also, take note that Youtube subscribers mean nothing, and if your channel was made for the sole purpose of getting subscribers, then you're not making music because you truly love it. 3 ~Felicity~ @OtarineMusic | Otty's Facebook | Otty's Youtube | Otty's Soundcloud | Otty's Bandcamp

Scootaloodle 1,623 June 24, 2015 Share June 24, 2015 Well you’ve still got two subscribers so it’s not all bad. Is this channel on YouTube? If it’s a YouTube channel, maybe post something about your music on your other channels like a little blog or something so any of your subscribers who may be interested will know of the music channels excistance. Post on Facebook Post on MLPF is a good one Get your music out there as best you can if you want more subs/followers whatever. Also SoundCloud may be good to get, it’s free for the first 60 or so minutes of uploads.

Stallionslaughter 394 July 15, 2015 Share July 15, 2015 Soundcloud is junk. It's a great music *hosting* site, but you should use other venues for getting it out there. Side note, the music is great. It's just not a popular style. Don't be discouraged from doing it. Kierkegaard 8 July 31, 2015 Share July 31, 2015 Standing on 4k subs. What I've learned when it comes to youtube and music is that don't ever keep your hopes up. Its best if you just do it for the sake of doing it. Not because you wan't people to listen to what you've accomplished. Make songs for the sake of making songs, not because you want people to hear them. BUT if you really want to have some audience, offer your musical services to big projects that have good foundations and upload the songs you made for that project on your channel to drive audience from the project to you. That's how I started. In the end, though, just keep making songs and then establish your brand.
idkQuicksilver 48 August 3, 2015 Share August 3, 2015 At first people loved what i did, and had 4 subs. Now i'm down two, what can i do to fix this? How long have you been uploading music on youtube? Popularity isn't something that happens overnight. I recommend having your friends share your music with others and occasionally submitting your works to Equestria Daily. Also, try and be as outgoing as possible in the music community; Make connections and work as a team with other artists who are also starting out. Subscribers also tend to like volume when you're starting out (I.E. releasing new stuff fairly often). -idkQuicksilver (instrumentals for Luna Ticks)
