No. Her horn, like any unicorn, is a way to channel the magic. Her secondary magic is her changeling side, feeling emotions and gaining power from it. Now, if there was an almost half changeling pony, and they suddenly lost all their magic. I wonder what would happen.

Tyra jumped to attention on the bed upon hearing Scarlett's voice booming through the air. "I AM PANCAKE!" She yelled, disoriented for a second.

 

She blinked and sat down, realising she was still in her 'room'. "Aye, of course...wait, Caramel is back!" She beamed, hopping off the bed and gathering her things before scampering out the door and past the house's owner. "Hi Scarlett!"

 

She burst out of the house and ran to the pier, stopping at the...very unique ship docked there. Wade had been standing there too.

"Greetings, Wade!" She greeted, waving a hoof and grinning at him, "Is this our ship here?"

Why does everyone think it's a new ship? It's the same ship as last time but with new sails! But even the sails look the same if not a bit shiny.

Caramel walked to her room, her stuff was already in packed up. She opened one of the boxes and took out the picture. It was a old picture, the color had faded a little. She gave the picture to Scarlett.

 

On the picture stood 6 ponies and a small mare. The mare standing next to the captain with a smile. The captain had a big black beard and was wearing a blue captains head. He looked very old. The other crewmates were a bit younger. They were smiling as well.

Any more of this and the amount of emotion might reach Scarlett.
