"Well, I'm ready. I assume you're ready as well, so who are we waiting for? I think your love for the sea has affected me."

" I was waiting on you of course but I'm glad yer ready now." Caramel said excited as she jumped back on four hooves. "Alright. Time to set sail!"

 

Caramel walked towards the large bell hanging by the mast. She grabbed the piece of rope attached to it and ranged it very loudly. "All hooves on deck!! Let's get this ship sailing!" She yelled loudly so that everypony could hear her.

Caramel walked towards the large bell hanging by the mast. She grabbed the piece of rope attached to it and ranged it very loudly. "All hooves on deck!! Let's get this ship sailing!" She yelled loudly so that everypony could hear her.

 

Scarlett quickly added "And be careful about the speed, she may handle a little differently than before. Nothing I can't adjust if you want."

 

Scarlett quickly jumped off the ship and went to the panel on the wall. Pushing a few buttons, a whirly thing and a couple of other wiggly levers the front of the dock began to open downwards as well as the ceiling moving backwards. If you were looking outside you would have seen a slight blurring outside before a quick shimmer of Scarlett's magic as the the house and dock came into realtime and Scarlett's shield came down. She jumped back onto the ship next to Caramel "I opened the door."

Tyra, tucked in under the covers, smiled in comfort as she snuggled down into the bed. Not too long after, she began snoring quite loudly. No doubt it might have caused Wade some disturbance.

 

A few hours had passed before she finally regained consciousness, and her eye opened to see if anypony was still there.

"Uugh..." she mumbled, slowly blinking before sitting up, a groggy look on her face. She was not a morning pony.

Wade had returned to his room after a short time of watching over Tyra. He was sure she was fine, but still returned over so often to make sure. He decided that enough time had passed and was going to check on her again. When he opened the door to go look inside, he saw that she had woken up. "You're awake. You've been out for a few hours now. How are feeling?"

Wade had returned to his room after a short time of watching over Tyra. He was sure she was fine, but still returned over so often to make sure. He decided that enough time had passed and was going to check on her again. When he opened the door to go look inside, he saw that she had woken up. "You're awake. You've been out for a few hours now. How are feeling?"

 

Tyra watched as Wade entered the room, and she let out a loud yawn and stretched out her limbs and neck.

"Aahhh, much better, thanks," She sighed, feeling her joints crack and pop, "I feel ready to take on anything the ocean can throw at us!"

The ringing of the loud bell got her awake much faster, and the call to action got her more determined. She hopped out of bed and shook herself off.

"You heard the captain!" She chirped, grinning to the stallion before scampering out, "It is time to sail!"

 

She burst out to the deck and ran up to Caramel, saluting the captain. "What shall you have me do, friend? I am ready now!"

"Ah! I see yer awake. Perfect timing! You take the wheel me friend. I hope ye still remember how to steer. Ye can sail us out of the docks." Caramel ran from place to place, checking the sails once more before running towards the end of the ship. With great strength she raised the anchor so the ship could finally set sail.

When the ship got moving, she steadily steered it out of the docks and toward the more open waters. Still rather short, she had to strain a bit to see clearly.

Scarlett quickly magically jumped up to where the wheel was and quickly said to Tyra "You need to turn left by about 10 degrees, there are some rocks below water and we don't really want to hit any of them with the ship, more for the ships sake than the rocks."

Tyra jumped a bit at Scarlett's sudden presence, and tilted her head at her instructions. What was a 'degree' again?

However, she could tell left from right, so she figured she'd slowly steer the ship left until the peculiar unicorn was satisfied.

 

"Tell me when I reach ten of these 'degrees'!" She requested.

Scarlett waited until Tyra had turned by the correct amount and said "Straighten it out, now!" She hoped she didn't come across as bossy but the way in which she said it could be taken the wrong way. "It should be open waters from now on, but if anything happens just get me or Caramel."

Where exactly are we heading, it's hard to sail somewhere without knowing where we are actually going."

And with that Caramel trotted off towards the kitchen below deck. She put down a big barrel of cider on the dinner table and filled her cup.

"The ship checks it's own inventory, but I'll think I'll do that anyway."

 

Scarlett walked down to the storage room and checked around to make sure they had everything they needed. Once completing the checks and being satisfied with the results, she came back up a deck and went to the kitchen and upon walking in said "Hi again"

Rave finally woke up, having slept well. He noticed that Caramel was not by his side. He did not react to that though, he was starting to get used to that, so he got up and put on his saddlebag. He then stepped out of the Captain's quarters quietly and closed after him. He started to look around for the others.

The feeling of being in motion on water was a feeling that Wade was unfamiliar with, but found it to be rather relaxing to his sense. With constant noise and motion around him, he could see much more clearly and constantly than before.

 

Not knowing anything about ships, he'd be nothing but a nuisance on deck, so he decided to go to the kitchen to relax for a bit. @@Pucksterv Walking in to the room, he noticed Caramel sitting at the table. Now was as good a time as ever to try and apologies for his actions yesterday. He took a seat on the table a few places away from Caramel. "Captain? May I talk with you for a moment?"

Scarlett, not wanting to interrupt what she could only guess was an apology said "I'll be back shortly" before grabbing a mug of beer and walking out the room with it by her side. She went up to the wheel of the ship and sat down behind it. She takes a sip of her drink and pulls out some metal and wood, before pulling out the tool that was usually attached to her back left leg and working on the materials.

"Let's just say that my actions yesterday were completely out of line. I said a few things I realise that I should not have and I regret what I did. I'm sorry for offending you yesterday. I just hope that we can put that behind us. Forgive and forget as the saying goes." He held out his hoof for a hoof shake. "Do you accept my apology?"
