technical issue Site Won't Load On Wii U Browser

It keeps going to an "Error" page whenever I try to come here on my Wii U, but works just fine on my PC.

Correct. IPB 3.4.x and MLP Forums are not compatible with the WiiU browser, and there would be a bit of tinkering needed (for example including the JS object/scripting to access the controller) for it to even be viable. Currently there are tasks opened specifically to address Internet Explorer issues so this would not be a priority.

I own a Wii U too, and I've seen as well that the forums could be accessed from its internet browser, at least until a day ago or so. Actually, some of my other ways of getting onto the forums have suddenly stopped working in this time, including using Chrome on my laptop (Firefox works fine, for some reason) and on the 2DS as pointless as it is on there. Looking more into Poniverse, it seems like pony.fm and Equestria.tv aren't working for these browsers anymore either... I haven't seen any indication or announcement that browsers like these would stop loading these sites, so I don't know what has happened.

 

On a slightly unrelated note, my account lost its private status in the last day, somehow... I don't mind having it lost too much, but I don't understand how that change managed to occur.

It has been an issue since the WiiU launched. We have had this reported previously and investigated it.

 

I'll test all the other browsers on my various machines, but the OS, the browser, and version, and times would be needed.

 

I'll fix your private status though. It clicks off depending on the circumstances surrounding your donor status. Another known issue that has not been resolved. Just PM and admin.

Thanks but like I said I am aware of the general incompatibility issues. The amount of the IE users > WiiU Browser users so that browser bug's priority is much greater than others. IE has been a major headache for months. That is first.

Browser- Google Chrome

Version- 43.0.2357.134

Times- I don't think I've ever experienced this before, if that's what you mean?

I have the same problems with two consoles (wii u and 360 (haven't tried the ps3 yet)) and my 3ds, though the 3ds says something about an ssl error. Funny thing is the last couple of weeks are the first time that any of those has had a problem with the site not related to page size or other more common web problems and they've always had no problem popping up the forums.
