...God damn it. SYL stands Strapping Young Lad, a Canadian metal band started by the ever so psychotic Devin Townsend. They've released 5 albums: Heavy As a Really Heavy Thing, City, Alien, SYL and The New Black. Four of those albums are in that signature, accompanied by the band's logo name on their SYL album.
