gaming How do I enjoy other Namco games?

The only Namco game I have a strong preference for is PAC-MAN. However, there are tons of other Namco games that I should love too. I'm pretty sure that if you like a game, you have to like every game in the entire company too. How do I do that? I'm part of the people who only like Namco for PAC-MAN, and not DigDug or Mappy. I don't want to be just a PAC-MAN fan, I want to be a fan of the entire company of Namco. Can someone help?

Galaga

 

Galaga will never get old for me. I haven't played it in a while. The highest stage I've ever made it to was Stage 103.

 

Oh and just for the record, know this: The higher you get in stages, the more enemies will dive at you during formation.

 

Mappy was fun when I was a kid btw, and Pac-man will always remain in my heart, because that's the game I always wanted to play while I waited to get my haircut.

There's nothing saying you have to enjoy every game from a company just cuz you liked one. That's ridiculous on every level.

I don't really feel like the Tales series, outside of a couple entries, really does much to stand out.

 

FF will always be superior to me purely by the fact that the series is always doing something different.

 

Neither place on my top five though.

Just because you like Pac Man doesn't mean you're obligated to like other Namco games. Like don't care much for Pokemon despite being a huge Nintendo fan.

 

As for other Namco games I like I've recently grown fond of the Tales series. And I love Tekken, Soul Caliber and Klonoa

Tekken 3 is one of my favorite fighting games of all time, same with Tekken Dark Resurrection which was amazing for the PSP. I have played both of those so much. Then there is Galaga and Dig Dug as others have mentioned, those are both pure classics. :3 I also played a lot of Ridge Racer for the PSP which was another amazing PSP title by them. Namco has an amazing and diverse catalogue of games in retrospective. Just look on those and you will find a new world of enjoyment beyond Pac Man for sure.

My Favourite game is Baraduke, It is included in one of the Namco Museum games. ( which i would recommend for you, because they often have many interesting games you can try. They have 6 games in one, as far as i remember. )

 

Baraduke is an spaceshooter arcade game which i find really interesting.

 

Also, Ridge Racer is a cool racing game series by Namco. And Pacman even appears in a few of those games as an easteregg 

Also, try Pac-Attack! Its a cool Tetris/Pacman spinoff  :grin2:
