I noticed how there is a maximum of FOUR binding of Issac crossover fan fictions. This game has great story, characters, setting, creatures - why doesn't it get moar love  :( ?

I'm honestly surprised there's four.  When you look at the sheer mass of other things that could mix with MLP via crossover, things that are great on their own, there's a notable hurdle. --> When you divide your choices down to fanfiction dominantly about MLP, then crossovers, then specific crossovers of the hundreds/thousands of possibilities, well... I would've expected only one or two after accounting how dramatically different the two seem to be in terms of tone/setting/etc, and how tBoI seems pretty stand-alone in terms of story.

Isaac doesn't seem to be all that big in the Fanfiction scene in general. At least I haven't seen that many of them. It also seems pretty hard to get right. How do you really translate that game's tone into a fanfiction, and successfully mix it with something like MLP? Not exactly easy. I'd love to see a succesful crossover of the two, but I'm not sure how it'd be done...

Also, Isaac talking in fics is weird. Really weird. I kinda want him to just stay mute.

@Polyblank I have moved your topic to sugarcane corner where it can get proper attention as it relates to crossover material.

True, but thinking about the characters you can mix - around six in the origonal ((i have no idea how many are in re-birth)) it would work pretty well. and I can see it working better then let's say - godzilla, which is a FANTASTIC crossover in The Bridge: A My Little Pony/Godzilla Crossover. the characters are pretty good matches, and although it'd be a challenge creating a story arc around issac's monsters in ponyville it'd be fantastic together. while godzilla is ton harder when you get pretty much the childhood fantasy of a tomboy and a princess smacking against each other. but hey, opposites attract. (easy challenge, find how many god damn grammar errors are in there  :derp: .)

sheer mass of other things that could mix...

...

oh god is there a candy crush crossover

...

probably the prequel to "bittersweet"

me too, but that would be a huge language barrier that would prevent his character from developing and interacting ENORMOUSLY :derp:.

Not really, actually. Isaac could communicate through other means. Say, drawing. That's a pretty big thing to him isn't it? The intro and epilogue are Isaac's drawings, his room is covered in them, he could draw to explain things. As well as body language and facial expressions.

Perhaps this could be a positive thing? :P Given how huge the fan fiction thing is, I am surprised to hear that only four have been created for this sort of crossover, but I am not sure I would want to know what some might come up with. I love Binding of Isaac, and as dark and eerie as many of its undertones are, I find it really interesting. Who knows what a fan fiction could conjure up though. :o
