So far, that note had not been a positive one.

The man looked at the dwarf. "We don't have an exact location, but it's somewhere in this area," he said, unrolling a map and pointing to a jungle in the Congo. He then looked at Jade. "You all have to take the tests, it's policy. You were all notified of your mission. There is no important information being withheld from you." He finally looked to the argonian. "They are combat tests, such as hostage situations, target practice, explosives training, and the like."

I inspect the map, the tall man's subtle arrogance grating on me.

The sooner we can get out of here the better, they better not be sending any of their cronies with us.

"So it's like a one-at-a-time sort of test? Inadequate facilities to test us all at once?"

I begin rolling up the map, with the intent to take it with me. The local area will be good to know when looking for sniping positions.
